Earlier this year, we learned that The Young and the Restless was finally going to recast Adam Newman and resurrect him from the alleged death.
Well, according to Daytime Confidential, it looks like that’s finally happened and we will be seeing Victor’s prodigal youngest son soon.
DC reports that insiders say Mark Grossman will play the new Adam. The role was previously made popular by Michael Muhney and Justin Hartley.
Hartley left the soap after a two-year stint in 2016 after he landed a lead role on the hit NBC series, This Is Us.
When Hartley left, Adam was presumed dead in a cabin explosion caused by Chloe, who herself has been faking her own death for a while to live life peacefully with Kevin and daughter, Bella.
Grossman has several other acting credits, including roles on Hustle, Famous In Love, and Family Dinner.
How will Adam return and what effect will it have on his family? Victor was partly responsible for this supposed death, although he’d never admit it.
As Soap Hub learns more about how and when Adam Newman makes his triumphant Genoa City return, we’ll let you know.
