Kyle has done so many dumb things on The Young and the Restless, it’s hard to think of any times he’s made the right call. Now he has another brilliant idea.

The Young and the Restless Polling

He’s going to confess to Ashland (Richard Burgi) about sleeping with his wife and fathering his son. Jack (Peter Bergman) told Kyle (Michael Mealor) not to do it. Summer (Hunter King) told Kyle not to do it. Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) told Kyle not to do it.

But Kyle knows better than anyone else. Do almost 2,000 of you agree?

Live And Let Live

A majority 44% of the audience have some advice for young Master Abbott: Don’t. Ashland is supposed to be the scariest scary who ever scaried. Even Victor (Eric Braeden) respects him. Which means he could squash Kyle like the toothpick he is. Why would Kyle even open this can of worms, since there is no chance of him coming out on top?

Half Pint

A more risk-taking 31% suggests Kyle split the difference. He can tell Ashland about sleeping with Tara. But he can leave little Harrison out of it. It’s one thing to blow up a marriage that obviously isn’t that great, to begin with. But why hurt a little boy who likely loves his Mommy and Daddy. And doesn’t know this goofy stranger at all.

Man Up

A slightly smaller 25% are all in. Yes, Kyle, go up to Ashland and tell him, “I slept with your wife, and I fathered you son and what are you going to do about it, huh? Huh?”

It won’t end well for Kyle, but it should be more interesting to watch than him cowering in terror and letting Jack clean up his mess. If Kyle wants to be a father to Harrison, he needs to grow up first. This is a good first step. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
