Rey Of Light: Which Woman Will Feel the Burn on The Young and the Restless?

There’s a new boy in town – that would be on The Young and the Restless – and he’s looking good.

That would be Guiding Light and Days of Our Lives Emmy-winning vet Jordi Vilasuso. He’s playing the mysterious Rey.

So far, Rey has deliberately crossed paths with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden), volunteered to change Phyllis’s (Gina Tognoni) tire, chatted up Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow), and made a lovely vision board featuring all of the above… and JT (Thad Luckinbill).

He also revealed himself to be Arturo’s (Jason Canela) big brother. They growled at each other and exchanged barbs in front of Abby (Melissa Ordway) so we know there are Big Secrets (TM) ahead.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is keeping a secret about JT. Ergo, it stands to reason that she and Rey are meant for each other, 45% of the people who’ve ever watched a soap before are feeling pretty confident.

Rey fixed Phyllis’s tire. As soon as Phyllis gets tired of Billy (Jason Thompson), who only causes problems, she will be desperate for a man who can fix them, according to 18% of the audience.

Arturo is dating Abby. Ergo, Rey is going to want her. The truth seems obvious to 13% of the viewers. You also expect to find out this isn’t the first time they’ve gone head to head over a woman.
