Victor is on house arrest The Young and the Restless. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) thinks he killed JT (Thad Luckinbill). Jack (Peter Bergman) came by to offer his condolences… and to gloat. Victor’s (Eric Breaden) countenance barely budged. Then again, it rarely does.
Victor is sure he’s got the situation under control, and that he can fix everything without pulling in Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) or Victoria (Amelia Heinle). But will he need Jack’s help? And, will his nemesis rise to the occasion?
What almost 5,000 of you think about that possibility:
Loyalty Oath
Jack hates Victor. But, he still has a soft spot for Nikki, and even for Victoria. Now that Nick (Joshua Morrow) knows his mother is the culprit and he’s agreed to join forces with Victor to clear his name, will Nick turn to Jack for help?
Jack would never do Victor a favor. But Nikki? Victoria? Nick? Maybe, 86% of you muse. And, if Jack finds out two of his ex-wives, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case), are also involved. He may throw in his lot with Victor in order to protect them.
Besides, it’ll be fun to lord it over Victor. And then to ask for a favor in return…
Not Me
And then there are the 14% of the audience who, like Phyllis, still recall Victor kidnapping Jack, and replacing him with a look-alike who happily slept with Phyllis while ruining the rest of Jack’s life.
Oh, sure, Victor went to jail for that. For minutes! Why would Jack help him skirt the law yet again – even if Victor isn’t actually guilty, this time.
Jack would rather see The Mustache behind bars, in unflattering clothes, scowling and mumbling about family and loyalty and how Jack isn’t fit to shine his shoes. But, then again, Jack will still be wearing shoes…to walk away and leave Victor in prison.
