His abrupt exit from The Young and the Restless came as a shock earlier this year, especially after his character’s father was just allegedly killed.
But now, Tristan Lake Leabu is returning to Y&R. Does that mean JT might not be far behind?
According to Soaps In Depth, the Emmy-nominated Leabu was on his way back to Y&R. The actor’s first airdate is set for Monday, December 10.
Reed opted to leave town shortly after his father J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) “disappeared.” He went off to a new school where he could concentrate on his music.
The young man’s return is likely tied to the ongoing mystery of what happened to J.T. after Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) clubbed him over the head after walking in on him attacking her daughter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Leabu was nominated for two Daytime Emmys in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 2017 and 2018; he performed at the 2017 Daytime Emmy Awards.
The young actor is also known to superhero fans from his role in Superman Returns as Jason White (the biological child of the title character, played by Brandon Routh, ex-Seth, One Life to Live).
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
