The Y&R spoilers recap for Friday, March 11, 2022, brings a bombshell from Jack Abbott when he finally meets a connection to his son Keemo. Plus, Chance Chancellor struggles in therapy, Devon Hamilton struggles with Chance’s therapy, Rey Rosales struggles to get his wife’s attention, and Chelsea struggles to stay away from Rey.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) were still in Los Angeles — still hanging out at Keemo’s house. Jack called Allie (Kelsey Wang), and she agreed to stop by to speak with them about Hal Nguyen — AKA Keemo. Of course, she got tied up, so Jack and Phyllis had to wait a while. Jack seemed anxious and Phyllis seemed like she felt out of place. However, Jack reassured Phyllis that she was his steady rock during all the upheaval he was feeling.

Finally, at long last, Allie showed up. She thought Phyllis and Jack were lawyers and had something to do with Hal’s estate. However, Jack dropped a bombshell on the younger woman — he’s Hal/Keemo’s father. Say what?!

Young and the Restless: Survivor’s Guilt

Chance (Conner Floyd) had another therapy session coming up, and not surprisingly, he was stressed. He and Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) surprised Devon (Bryton James) in a bad way by asking to pick up Dominic early for some family time before Chance’s therapy session. Nonplussed, Devon said yes anyway.

At therapy, Chance described the horrors he experienced in Spain and ultimately wondered why he survived when nobody else did. He also wondered how he was supposed to live with that guilt. When he got home, Chance snapped at Abby when she suggested he hold his teething son. Oops.

Meanwhile, Devon embarrassed himself at Crimson Lights by asking Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) too much about Chance. Both Sharon and Rey shut Devon down and reiterated that Chance had lots of people on his side.

Later, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) asked Devon if he wanted full custody of Dominic. Devon denied it, but he went on to lament how horrible Chance’s stress during therapy was for the little boy because everybody knows that babies couldn’t possibly be around parents who were working out their problems in counseling.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Attention Please

As for Rey, he had some time off and wanted to spend it alone with Sharon. She thought that was great. However, when he suggested bowling and other interesting ideas, she seemed on the verge of suggesting some adult time at home. At that moment, though, her phone rang, and surprise surprise it was Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Guess what? Christian Newman (yes he still exists) had to pick his favorite adult to ask five questions to and take a picture of for a poster project at school. The only rub? He picked Sharon and he had to talk to her right then.

Oops, sorry Rey. No alone time today because Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) child called…of course, that same child was once Sharon’s, when he went by the name Sully, so she felt double connected to him. Rey was a good sport about it, but he didn’t seem to appreciate once again coming in last place in Sharon’s world.

Y&R: A Spark

Rey soon perked up, though, because Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) returned from New York, and she hit up Crimson Lights just in time to save Rey from an afternoon alone. They talked all things hockey and Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) since he’s just the greatest kid since sliced bread or something.

Rey even had a great idea — Chelsea should take Conner to a professional hockey game next week. Awesome idea, are you coming, Rey? No plans to, but who knows? Stranger things have happened. Chelsea certainly lit up from Rey’s attention, and he wasn’t too sad to see her.
