The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 14, 2022, brings Genoa City’s major power players front and center as the merger party had the best of the best showing up, which meant some minor fires also slowly burning.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Nothing like a get-together to have everyone on their toes right? The booze was flowing, the food was making the rounds, and everything was off to a great start. A great start until flashbacks began to dampen one too many people’s good times.
First up was Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). A few quips with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) got the brothers heated. Y&R spoilers show Jack tried to calm down by sharing a drink with Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), who had him reliving his last and final breakup with the love of his life.
Young and the Restless: Nate, Nate, Nate
Next up was Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He was interviewed by a reporter and relayed his journey from the surgical ward to the boardroom. For him, it was love and light. Unfortunately, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) overheard and his guilt ran deep. He replayed the day he ruined his cousin’s entire career with a one-two punch.
Speaking of Nate, Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) seemed over him for a hot minute. She only had eyes for Shawn Giancarlo (Antoine Grant). She enjoyed the way his name rolled off her tongue so much she kept saying it over and over. Well, until she didn’t. Y&R spoilers teased it wasn’t long before one too many drinks sent her back Nate’s way. Don’t worry, she was just there to tell him to follow his instincts…which will probably get him in big trouble.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Bad Vibes
Also on scene were Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). They were thrilled to have an adult night away from baby many-names. Oops, not so much. They go there just minutes before the top cop was called away. Abby was more than happy to share some business wisdom with former squeeze Nate. All the while, Chance and his partner obtained a search warrant and took on a bad guy (mostly off-screen, of course).
Abby’s night wasn’t the only one almost ruined. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) showed up and sent several players into an uproar including Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) – which gave Jill some pause. Hmm…what was going on there? Y&R spoilers show Nikki and Diane’s little tiff had Victor remembering when he was married to the troublemaker. Oh boy, more flashbacks!
Y&R Spoilers: A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing
Victor wasn’t just there to walk down Memory Lane. He was there to size up the competition, congratulate the players, and let them have their night. He even gave Lily and Devon some good advice. Never let business get in the way of siblinghood. “Never left go..of it” he said, making us feel like we were watching Titanic again. Like Rose, Devon promised he wouldn’t.
Victor then got to texting about his own company’s major news bomb. He was gearing up to name Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) the head of the family business.
