The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 23, 2022, brings a confrontation between Sally Spectra and Victoria Newman Locke. Adam Newman also stands up to his father, The Great Victor Newman, Michael Baldwin spills the goods on Ashland Locke, Billy Abbott clashes with Ashland, and Lily Winters gives Nate Hastings an alternative offer.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Sally (Courtney Hope) ran into Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Crimson Lights. They sat down to talk for a bit, and Sally found herself defending her lack of experience to be the COO of Newman Media. While Victoria smugly mentioned how much experience she had, Sally let the older woman know that what she lacks in experience she makes up for with hard work and determination.

As things wrapped up, Victoria dropped a hint that she knew about Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) stepping over the line. Sally declined to confirm Victoria’s suspicions, and she compared herself and Adam to Victoria and Ashland (Robert Newman). Victoria quickly shot that idea down by insinuating that while she and Ashland were equals, there is no way that Adam sees Sally as an equal.

Young and the Restless: Selfish, Disloyal, and Arrogant

At the same time Sally dealt with Adam’s sister, he had to handle Victor (Eric Braeden). Adam firmly stood up to his father, declining to be his mole against Ashland. Victor wasn’t thrilled at all. He accused Adam of being selfish, disloyal, and arrogant, claiming that Ashland posed a grave threat to the entire Newman empire. Adam still felt his father was testing him once again.

After his run-in with Victor, Adam met Sally in a room at The Grand Phoenix. She had a coffee, cinnamon roll, and news that his sister wanted dirt on his personal life. Adam admired that Sally stood up to Victoria. Then, he relayed that he might have overplayed his hand with Victor. For her part, Sally soothed Adam’s frayed nerves, letting him know she believed in him and felt Victor would come around and eventually appreciate that Adam stood his ground when it came to spying on Ashland.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: The Locke Ness Monster & Billy

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Ashland happened to be at the bar at Society. Billy told Ashland he knew that he was up to something, and blah, blah, blah. Ashland gaslighted Billy, acting like it was all in his head. Then, Victoria showed up and was horrified to see Billy “attacking” her husband yet again. The two agreed to stay apart for the time being while their children were away at boarding school.

Victoria and Ashland stayed and talked about Adam and Sally’s romance. They decided that Adam would end up hanging himself. Then, Victor called and summoned his daughter to Newman Media.

Before Victoria arrived, Michael (Christian Le Blanc) video called Victor to inform him that the doctor he found in Peru revealed that Ashland paid the clinic to make it look like he had terminal cancer when he was 100% healthy. Victoria walked in right after Victor learned Michael’s shocking news.

Y&R: Odds and Ends

Nate (Sean Dominic) went to see Lily (Christel Khalil) for advice on if he should accept Ashland’s job offer. Instead, she offered Nate a job at Chancellor Industries. She wasn’t sure what he’d do, but she promised to make it worth his while.

After all, he’s family, and she wants him to be part of what she’s building at Chancellor. Nate promised to consider the offer. Plus, Billy declared he could be Lily’s perfect COO and find the time to do his big new podcast.
