Adam admitted that he saw the police report about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. Then, he suggested that she make her name in the media world by publishing the whole exposé against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Co.

Y&R Spoilers Recap 2

At long last, Adam finally told Sally the truth about why he broke up with her. Sure, she suspected it, but hearing it out loud really brought a lot of clarity for the Newman Media CEO. Vengence always comes first for Adam Newman. Sally learned it the hard way, but she never wanted his protection. She simply wanted him to trust and confide in her. Sally finally, painfully saw the real Adam — his only goal in life is bringing down Victor. Ultimately, Sally thanked Adam for his scoop, but she refused to do what Adam wanted.

Before he visited Sally, Adam had seen Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and basically threatened him over the police report. Chance stood his ground with Adam, but later, he informed Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that Adam knew some things that could complicate the entire situation.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor asked Nick what he thought of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) plans for the business. Nick expressed that he thought she was doing okay, even if she was pushing forward with acquisitions rather firmly.

Later, Sally showed up to see Victoria. The Newman Media CEO let her boss know about Adam’s indecent proposal regarding the Ashland Locke story. Victoria wasn’t surprised by her brother’s actions. Victoria wondered if Sally had shut Adam down entirely and noted that since Sally hadn’t uttered the words, then perhaps they could use the situation to their advantage since Adam seemed to be being reckless.

Meanwhile, Nick and Victor confronted Adam at Society. He wondered if his big brother and dad had wanted a refreshing beverage. Of course, Nick and Victor actually wanted to know what Adam thought he was doing. Adam pushed home the point about Victor protecting both his sons after they’d murdered men, but Adam had been a mere boy while Nick is a grown man. Ultimately, Adam wasn’t interested in talking with his family, so he left in a huff.

Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) ran into each other at Chancellor Park. They’d both clearly had bad days, and they shared a meaningful look with each other.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Next Level Thinking

Another day, another argument that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) must babysit…er manage…between her brother and her cousin. They had a big meeting without Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) because he was off kissing…er recording his last podcast with Chelsea. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) once again presented an update on his musical festival idea, and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) completely shot it down. Nate accused his cousin of being too conservative, while Devon thought Nate’s idea was too risky.

Nate left, and he met Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at Society. He complained that his animosity with Devon was raining on his second act of working with his family in the business. Elena suggested that Nate simply leave since it was causing such strife.

As for Billy, he put a stop to his kiss with Chelsea, and she was embarrassed, insisting that they just move forward and not discuss it. They finished their podcast, and then Chelsea went to Crimson Lights, where she felt sorry for herself but declined to open up to Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

After he wrapped things up with Chelsea, Billy made Lily’s difficult day even harder by disclosing the kiss to her. Of course, he did exactly what he should have, but it still worried Lily. Even so, they sat down and talked shop, and Lily admitted she liked Nate’s next-level thinking about the music festival.

Coming Up Next On Y&R Spoilers: Traci Wants Answers

Coming up next on The Young and the Restless, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) wants to know exactly what’s up with her brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). It’s not like she has a question or two either, you’ll see Traci give Jack the third degree, which he’s sure to take exception to, especially given how the elder Abbott recently told Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that he can take care of himself. Jack will likely give his sister a version of the same speech he told Kyle, but she might not be as easily dissuaded as her nephew was.

Of course, the subject of Traci’s questioning — Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) — gets the tables turned on her by her sworn enemies Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
