The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 16, 2022, brings Sally Spectra informing Nick Newman that she’s “Team Newman,” but that may not apply so much to Adam Newman. Plus, Chance Chancellor continues his investigation, Chelsea Lawson notices Billy Abbott was uptight about clutter, and Lily Winters worries about the tension between her brother and cousin.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

At the Ranch, Victor (Eric Braeden) updated Nick (Joshua Morrow), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on Chance’s latest findings. Nick wanted to know what was next, and Victor insisted that they rally together and stick to the story.

Y&R Spoilers Recap 3

Nick wasn’t thrilled, but he decided to go along with what his father wanted. Later, he approached Sally (Courtney Hope) at Newman Media, and she reiterated that the company wasn’t going to do a thing about reporting the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) story. She’s team Newman (but obviously not Team Adam Newman these days).

Young and the Restless: Get A Life

Chance (Conner Floyd) got the shakedown from multiple sides, with Sally trying to get him to give her some information on his investigation, but he played his cards close to his vest. Adam (Mark Grossman) happened to overhear, and he was rude to Sally about what she tried to do.

Of course, later, Adam tried to get Chance to team up with him, but Chance refused. He got angry and even told Adam to “get a life” and do better. Adam, however, let his former friend know that he was as good as he could get. Chance seemed disgusted.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Billy Abbott Approach

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) annoyed Billy (Jason Thompson) by being messy. She gave him a hard time about being too uptight and too controlled. She even accused him of having the “Billy Abbott Approach” or BAA (like a sheep).

Y&R Spoilers Recap 1

Elsewhere, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) discussed the rising tension between Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Lily suggested it was more about Devon than the work, but he took exception to that.

As for Nate, he and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) caught up with each other in Chancellor Park, and they bonded over what a terrible person Ashland was. He also discussed his new job, and Victoria told Nate he was “the one who got away”…from Newman Enterprises, that is.

Y&R: Family Business

After Victor declared his family must stick to the story, he ended up at Society, where he and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) talked for a bit. He was happy to hear his grandson secured a new location for his venture. Noah asked his grandpa why he didn’t inform him the other day that Ashland had died. Noah expressed his worry for his grandpa, but Victor wasn’t too concerned.

Later, Victor showed up at Newman Enterprises, and he found Victoria hard at work. She informed her dad that they’d beaten the quarterly revenue projections, which made him happy.
