The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 10, 2023, brings a Trojan Horse from Tucker for Jack and Diane.

Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Tucker lies to Devon. Audra and Kyle reconnect, while Heather tells Daniel that she and Lucy are returning to Genoa City. Now let’s dig deeper into what went down.

Young and the Restless: Sabotage

Diane (Susan Walters) thanked Jack (Peter Bergman) for their wonderful celebration. They realized they never danced, so they shared a spin around the courtyard alone. He marveled at how they showed everyone how much they loved each other.

They sat on a bench, discussing Kyle and how well he and Summer got along. Diane had hope, but Jack wasn’t too convinced.

Traci (Beth Maitland) tried to talk to Billy (Jason Thompson) in the Abbott living room, but he was distracted by Tucker’s gift. She wanted to throw it out, but Billy wondered what was inside. Against his sister’s wishes, Billy decided to open the gift, starting with the card. Inside was a Bonsai tree.

Jack and Diane joined Billy and Traci in the living room, and Jack wasn’t happy his brother had opened Tucker’s gift. However, Diane was glad because opening it took away the gift’s power. Jack refused to take it at face value, and he warned, “Tucker isn’t done.”

However, Diane tried to talk the family into getting a new perspective on Tucker (Trevor St. John). As she talked, Tucker sat in his suite, listening to what she was saying.

Earlier, at the GCAC bar, Tucker flashed back to a discussion with Audra about Ashley. Devon (Bryton James) joined him, asking how sincere his dad was about making peace with Jack. Tucker insisted he was entirely sincere, but Devon seemed skeptical despite his dad’s explanation that he’d wanted revenge because of Ashley’s actions, but he realized it wasn’t the Abbotts’ fault.

Devon pointed out that it was difficult to believe his dad. He asked Tucker about his connection with Mamie. Tucker denied he was involved with Mamie buying the Chancellor-Winters shares. Devon chose to believe his dad, and Tucker offered to help him find out what Mamie was up to. Instead of opening up, Devon left.

Young and the Restless Recap: Reconnection

Audra (Zuleyka Silver) approached Kyle (Michael Mealor) at Crimson Lights. She tried to flirt, but he didn’t bite. He called her out for firing him and breaking up with him the last time they’d talked. As she spoke, though, there was a spark, and they ended up back at her suite enjoying some adult time together.

After, Kyle wondered what had changed. However, Audra wasn’t concerned even when he brought up Nikki. He suggested Audra had a backup plan, and she admitted she might. Of course, Kyle wanted to know the details, but she sidestepped the question, asking what he was doing now.

He suggested Jack might fire Billy, whose job he’d jump at taking, but Audra wasn’t enthusiastic about it. She felt Diane would be the next in line, but Kyle didn’t agree because Diane wasn’t ready. Audra wondered what would happen if Jack didn’t get rid of Billy, but he said he’d help things along.

Y&R Recap: Family Time

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) visited with Heather (Vail Bloom), and he noticed something seemed off for her. Ultimately, Heather said she planned to move back to Genoa City, and Daniel was thrilled to hear that. She was relieved at his reaction. Heather shocked him by announcing that she’d completely forgiven him.

Daniel looked forward to being a family again. He offered to see if Lily and Devon would give her work at Chancellor-Winters, but Heather didn’t want to do that. Before she left, Heather thanked Daniel for making the whole thing easy, and he once again said he was entirely on board. She asked him to grab dinner, but he already had a dinner appointment, so they scheduled a drink for the following day.
