The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 14, 2023, brings a major shock for Jack when Diane takes Ashley’s side.

Also in this episode, Abby warned Ashley to stay away from Tucker. Victoria and Nick told Victor they’d work for him. Nikki and Claire arrived at her aunt’s cottage, and Nikki got dizzy. Nate updated Mamie on his ouster from Newman. Finally, Sally and Chloe made plans to work together again, but Chloe worried about Sally restarting things with Adam. Hell Freezes Over
At the Abbott mansion, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) said a happy “good morning” to Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman). She noticed her brother and his wife were grim, and they showed her an article ready to publish, detailing Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) misdeeds. Ashley felt it wasn’t a good idea, but Jack disagreed.
The siblings argued, and Diane played peacemaker. After some yelling, Ashley begged Jack for a little more time to make inroads with Tucker. Diane agreed, so Jack reluctantly gave in, warning his sister she was playing with fire.

After Ashley left, Jack complained to Diane about how worried he was over Ashley and Tucker. However, Diane said they should do things Ashley’s way. Jack admitted he was worried Ashley would fall for Tucker again.
At Crimson Lights, Ashley and Abby (Melissa Ordway) caught up with each other. Abby warned her mother to stay away from Tucker. She updated her mom that Devon and Lily suspected Tucker and Mamie were working together, which stunned Ashley.
As they discussed Chancellor-Winters, Ashley pointed out that Tucker should go after that company. Abby didn’t like that idea, though. Even so, Ashley still couldn’t believe Mamie would do something like team up with Tucker. Abby again warned her mom to stay away from Tucker, and Ashely promised she knew what she was doing.
Dizzy And Troubled
At Newman Enterprises, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) discussed her trip. She looked forward to having a break from their family’s infighting. Victor vowed he’d make sure their family fell in line while she was gone.
At Newman Media, Claire spoke on the phone to somebody, saying she had everything planned and would do whatever was necessary. Later, Nikki spoke with Claire at her office, and they planned their upcoming trip. In the hallway, Claire texted somebody to get everything prepared.

Claire and Nikki arrived at her great aunt’s cottage, and there was a note from Aunt Jordan saying she was at the doctor. Claire served Nikki some tea, and they chatted. Notably, the younger woman didn’t even take one sip. Nikki got lightheaded. As Nikki struggled, Claire glared at her.
Victor Newman Lays Down His Rules
Later, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) met with Victor at the office. They weren’t pleased to be there. Victor told his children he planned to remain CEO, and he wanted them to work alongside him. Nick suggested they all put the situation behind them and move forward, but Victoria admitted it wouldn’t be so easy for her.
She insisted that Nate’s motives were pure, but neither Nick nor Victor bought it. Victor suggested his daughter dump Nate, and she wasn’t pleased he interfered with her personal life. He reminded Victoria how poor her choice of men had always been. Nick backed his dad and said he was all in.
Victoria said she was furious, but she wouldn’t argue anymore. She planned to remain with Newman Enterprises. Victoria warned her dad that he’d have to work hard to earn back her trust, and he told her that went both ways. However, Victoria said she’d leave if Adam received a power role in the company, and Nick agreed. Victor told his children their brother would remain at the company with an important position, and he admonished his children for fighting Adam.
New Plans
At the GCAC bar, Adam (Mark Grossman) sarcastically greeted Nate (Sean Dominic). Nate admitted he was thrilled they no longer worked together. He told Adam, “You’re annoying as hell.” As they argued, Nate insisted he had Victor’s health in mind, and he pointed out that Victor had fooled Adam into believing he was losing his mind. Nate taunted Adam by reminding him Victor hadn’t rewarded him, and Adam was out of a job too.
Mamie (Veronica Redd) walked up, and Adam left. Nate updated his aunt that things went sideways at Newman. He admitted Mamie had been right about the Newmans, and she saw the bright side that her nephew was free to return to Chancellor-Winters. Nate updated his aunt that things went well with Devon, and she suggested they seize the moment.
Sally (Courtney Hope) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) met at Society. Chloe listened as Sally updated her on how great things were going with decorating Daniel’s apartment. Sally told Chloe she didn’t want to do the business without her, and Chloe was flattered. She updated Sally on telling Summer and Chelsea things weren’t working out, so Chloe agreed to rejoin Sally’s business.
Adam walked up to the bar as they happily laughed and hugged. Sally noticed him and flashed back to being in bed, her levity leaving. Chloe realized something was up with Sally and Adam, but Sally played it off. Ultimately, Chloe warned her friend to stay away from Adam, and they dropped it.
