The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, November 1 features frightening happenings as Halloween continues in Genoa City. Ashley learned how the Brash & Sassy face mask got poisoned, Victor continued teaching his son a lesson, and Dina put multiple lives in danger!
You expect scary masks on Halloween, but Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) weren’t expecting the Brash & Sassy mask to actually be, you know, deadly. Billy was certain Jack was behind everything, and he and Victor planned to bring him down.
It’s a shame there’s no evidence. All Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was able to figure out is that the mask was manufactured by a shady company. The kind usually used by people who want to rush their product to market.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was furious to see accused murderer Scott (Daniel Hall) hanging around Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Sharon (Sharon Case) told him that’s not Nick’s call to make. Later, she watched Mariah (Camryn Grimes) beg off going clubbing with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Noah (Robert Adamson).
Nick was also unhappy to learn that Victor (Eric Braeden) is trying to undercut business at The Underground and threatened to burn the place down himself before he let that happen.
He didn’t, though. Nick just sat at the empty bar, lit some matches, felt sorry for himself, and went home.
He also didn’t realize Reed (Tristan Lake LeBeau), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) were hiding in the back room, waiting to throw a St. Hallow’s Eve bash.
And, Dina (Marla Adams) didn’t realize that either when she snuck out of the Abbott house (clutching her favorite record) and tried to burn a photo of Brent Davis — but ended up setting the entire Underground ablaze.
