The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Cane and Billy Shouldn’t Drink and Mansplain

The Young and the Restless RecapThe Young and the Restless Recap

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, November 7 features a day for decisions, as both Billy and Cane decide to – drunkenly – fight for the women they love.

Drinking Games
Billy (Jason Thompson) misses Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Cane (Daniel Goddard) misses Lily (Christel Khalil). Now that Billy has decided he’s moving into the Chancellor house and he and Cane – and Juliet (Laur Allen) and Esther (Kate Linder) – are going to be roomies, the men also decided to drink away their sorrows.

Actions Have Consequences
A loaded Cane figured the best way to convince Lily not to divorce him is to show up on her doorstep and beg and plead and sing…until the cops arrive. After that, things didn’t quite go so well for either man, so lets check in on Billy.

A loaded Billy chose to bust in on Phyllis, who is slow dancing with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). Billy took a swing at Jordan and fell off his crutches. Then the cops arrive for him, too.

The two men still end up as roomies… in a jail cell.

Spy Games
And why is Phyllis slow dancing with Jordan? Well, it’s like this… A vengeful Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is digging into Jordan’s past. She tried to bully Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), but Chelsea went to Jordan. He wanted Hilary to lay off, or he’d release the nude pictures he took of her.

Hilary declined to lay off and instead, asked Phyllis to distract Jordan while Hilary snooped around in his hotel room. Eureka! Hilary found a box full of Jordan’s fake IDs!

Cost Cutting
Dina (Marla Adams) overruled Jack (Peter Bergman) at work, and told him John would be ashamed of how Jack is running Jabot. Gloria (Judith Chapman) defended her boss and friend, which earned Gloria a tongue-lashing from Dina. The epithet ‘floozy’ comes up. Jack wondered why loving someone always backfires on him.
