The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, November 2 features characters stripped characters down to their cores, as Cane and Billy stopped sweating the unimportant stuff and rush to rescue the teens. Also, Mariah came clean to Sharon and demands Tessa confessed how she really feels about Mariah.
Burning Love!
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) called the fire department while Reed (Tristan Lake LeaBu) called Billy (Jason Thompson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) called Cane — to reveal that they are trapped in The Underground’s quickly-filling-with-smoke backroom.
The men raced down to the scene, where Cane attempted to rush in to rescue the kids, but Billy was actually the one who does it. (Those firefighters might as well go home and chill with the Genoa City Police Department.)
Billy got the kids out to safety, but, for some reason, decided to stay inside (huh?). The building exploded.
Heart On My Sleeve
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) came out to Sharon (Sharon Case) about being attracted to a woman, and Sharon was completely supportive… until Mariah confesses that woman is Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), her brother’s girlfriend.
Sharon urged Mariah to demand the whole truth from Tessa about what their kiss meant. Tessa begged Mariah not to ask anymore of her. Mariah bared her soul, but Tessa was unmoved. She sobbed as Mariah walked away.
Meanwhile, In the Land of Petty Bitching
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) trash talked Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) about keeping his options open with both her and Lily (Christel Khalil). Jordan retorted that’s just the kind of cool guy he is, and called Hilary a few choice names, while bringing up her past. She tossed a martini in his face.
Really, guys? Billy’s life is on the line, Mariah’s heart is on the line, and you’re sniping?
