The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 18 features a game of Truth or Dare, as Phyllis dealt with the truth about Billy and Summer, Nate dared Cane to be a better man, and Mariah laid some harsh truths on Kyle.
Scorched Earth
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) can’t believe what Billy (Jason Thompson) told her about sleeping with Summer (Hunter King) in order to get back at Phyllis and Nick (Josh Morrow). Summer wasn’t too happy about it, either.
Phyllis screamed while Billy smirked. Later, Billy admitted he’s scorched the Earth, and there’s no going back.
Double Date
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) had a double date with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), and a game of Charades turned to Truth Or Dare. Everyone confessed the thing they did which they regret most.
Then Summer showed up. She needed to talk to Kyle about how upset she was about Billy. Lola urged Kyle to help his… friend, and the women leave.
Summer whined, and Kyle assured her she’ll be OK.
At the club, Lola wondered if Summer wants Kyle, but Mariah thought it’s more a case of Summer doesn’t want anyone else to have him. When Kyle showed up later looking for Lola, Mariah told him she’s gone – and Kyle had blown a good thing.
Summer found her mom and the pair embraced. Who needs Billy?
Life Goes On
Devon (Bryton James), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Shauna (Camryn Hamm), continued talking about the wonder that was Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Devon also encouraged Charlie not to be down over Lily, as his mom wouldn’t want that.
Meanwhile, Nate (Brooks Darnell) tracked down Cane (Daniel Goddard) and lectured him about missing a prison visit with Lily (Christel Khalil). He said it’s only going to get harder, so Cane better man up!
Nate also called Lily his friend. He’s her cousin. Sure, they could be both, but it’s still odd.
