Phyllis Makes a Deal with Cane

Meanwhile, Cane found Phyllis alone in the maze. The two engaged in a tense conversation about his desire to take over Genoa City and its companies. As Cane revealed his motives, Phyllis showed her willingness to back him, but her loyalty was questioned when she confessed that Nick had pushed her to make a choice.

Cane’s interest in Jabot seemed to be more than a passing thought, and Phyllis hinted that the Newmans were aware of his business dealings. However, Cane demanded Phyllis prove her commitment to him, asking her if she would betray those closest to her in order to secure her place by his side.

Jack and Billy’s Rift Intensifies

As the tension in the maze grew, Jack (Peter Bergman) confronted Billy (Jason Thompson) about his intentions to work with Cane. Jack was furious when Billy admitted he wanted to help Cane reclaim Chancellor.

He reminded Billy of the investment he made in Abbott Communications, only for his brother to focus on taking down Victor (Eric Braeden) by helping Cane. Despite Jack’s passionate objections, Billy remained unwavering in his decision, causing a deep rift between the two brothers.

Jack warned Billy that pursuing this risky venture would have lasting consequences on his life and their business, but Billy refused to back down.
