On The Young and the Restless May 22 episode, Abby confronts Amanda about her return, but it’s Devon who demands real answers about Dumas—and he doesn’t stop until he gets them. Meanwhile, Lily questions her risky plan, and Kyle’s scheming makes Claire uneasy.
What Happened On Y&R
At Crimson Lights, Abby (Melissa Ordway) spotted Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and congratulated her on her new job. The pleasantries didn’t last long. Amanda made it clear that her courtesy had limits, and Abby immediately asked if she was back in town for good.
The lawyer said she wasn’t and insisted Dumas had no interest in Winters, but Abby wasn’t buying it. Amanda sniped that she never betrayed her or Devon (Bryton James). She reminded Abby that she had caught them together on her own couch. She claimed she’d moved on, didn’t resent Abby, and wanted to live a good life, but Abby still wasn’t convinced.
Devon joined them and pushed for more information. Why would Dumas care about their company? What was Amanda’s real mission? She tried to deflect, but Devon stayed on her, questioning the motives behind her return and the true intentions of her new boss.
Amanda insisted Dumas respected him and Lily (Christel Khalil), but Devon remained skeptical. When she said Dumas didn’t meet people face-to-face, Devon didn’t care. He demanded she arrange a meeting. Amanda pointed out that nothing she ever did was good enough for him, but he stood firm. Eventually, she agreed to try.

Winters Gets A New Employee
At the GCAC, Damian (Jermaine Rivers) told Lily he was ready to accept her offer. But she wavered.
After hearing from Amanda that Dumas wasn’t interested in Winters, Lily wasn’t sure if the plan to use Damian as a spy was still necessary. Damian understood and guessed she was worried for his safety. Lily admitted she was more concerned about Nate (Sean Dominic).
Later, Damian called Dumas, and he reported back that the offer to spy was officially rejected. That made him question whether his job was still on the table. Lily said the offer still stood. However, she knew working at Winters could cause more problems for him, especially where Holden (Nathan Owens) was concerned.

Audra And Kyle Lay Groundwork
At Society, Nate and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) shared breakfast. He teased her about eating his potatoes and mentioned how nice it was that Victor (Eric Braeden) had finally given her some money for Vibrante. She said things were full steam ahead.
When Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) stopped by and wished her luck, Nate was surprised to hear Kyle sounding supportive. Claire had helped change his attitude, but once they left, Nate pushed Audra for answers. He didn’t believe she’d suddenly decided to be civil with Kyle. Audra insisted she just didn’t want to fight while launching her company, but Nate didn’t buy it.
At their table, Claire confronted Kyle about his plan to manipulate Audra. She didn’t like the deception or the games and warned that he seemed too emotionally entangled. Kyle insisted he had to stop her, but Claire worried he was doing it out of revenge.
