At Chancellor park, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) thanked Sally (Courtney Hope) for getting her out of the office on such a beautiful day. Sally admitted she wasn’t okay and was upset over trusting Adam. Audra reminded her Adam had lied and cheated, urging her to cut him out of her heart for good.
Sally wasn’t sure she was ready to move on, especially after losing Ava. She feared she might never love again. Audra told her to be tough, suggesting that not caring was the best revenge. Sally questioned whether revenge was just another form of caring.
At Society, Billy (Jason Thompson) accused Adam of harassing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and demanded to know what was said. When Adam dismissed Billy’s role as Chelsea’s protector, Billy grabbed Adam, who responded by punching him. As Billy retaliated, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) stepped between them, and Billy walked away, calling Adam “not worth it.”
Meanwhile, Cole (J. Eddie Peck) met Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at the Genoa City Athletic Club, sensing her worry. She told him that Victor (Eric Braeden) was planning a public takedown of Billy despite her objections. Victoria worried about the impact on their children and asked for Cole’s advice. He supported her decision to talk to Billy, acknowledging that standing up to Victor was difficult.
Back at Abbott-Chancellor, Phyllis brought Billy an ice pack after his altercation with Adam. She believed Billy’s strong feelings for Chelsea played a part in his actions, but Billy insisted it was about Adam. Billy couldn’t forgive Chelsea for sleeping with him. Phyllis advised him to focus on their business and Victor’s efforts to sabotage them.
Later, Summer (Allison Lanier) encountered Chelsea, who admitted that her breakup with Billy was her fault. As they spoke, Adam arrived, but Chelsea dismissed his attempts to talk, walking away in frustration.

At Society, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) greeted Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and asked her and Nick (Joshua Morrow) what was going on. Mariah explained that Sharon (Sharon Case) had lied about going to Madison for business. She tried calling Sharon, who said she needed time away from everyone to heal, and they had no idea where Sharon was.
Meanwhile, Sharon woke up in the no-tell motel after a nightmare. She dreamed Daniel (Michael Graziadei) was injured. Sharon struggled with her mind, and Cameron (Linden Ashby) pushed her to take drastic action.
In the park, Faith (Reylynn Caster) left Sharon a voicemail expressing concern. Adam showed up, and Faith told him about Sharon’s troubling behavior. Adam offered support, noting that Sharon had been deeply affected by memories of Cassie (Camryn Grimes).
Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom) discussed their situation at Daniel’s apartment. Heather expressed concerns about Sharon’s recent behavior, but Daniel reassured her that Sharon had apologized. They decided to stick around and focus on their family.
Back at Society, Nick told Mariah and Tessa that he had contacted Sharon’s doctor, who advised them to call the police if Sharon became a danger to herself. They discussed Sharon’s deteriorating state and the fear that she might be hiding something serious.
At the motel, Sharon struggled with Cameron’s manipulations. He urged her to act, but Sharon resisted, saying she couldn’t harm others. Cameron continued pressuring her, but Sharon fought to regain control of her mind. She found a sack with a bottle of poison she didn’t remember buying.

Nick arrived at Sharon’s place and found Faith there. Neither had heard from Sharon, and Faith admitted she was scared. Nick comforted her.
Meanwhile, Sharon broke into Daniel’s apartment, and she had the bottle of poison. Cameron urged her to put it in Daniel’s whiskey, but Sharon knew it was wrong. Cameron insisted that killing Daniel would bring her peace, claiming it would balance the loss of Cassie. Sharon was worried about someone else, like Heather or Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), drinking the poison. Cameron kept the pressure on, and Sharon eventually put a few drops into the whiskey.
At Society, Phyllis, Summer, and Daniel met. Phyllis told them about her new role as COO of Abbott-Chancellor, but her children were concerned about her history with Billy. Despite their reservations, they ultimately rallied and celebrated Phyllis’ success.
Back at Daniel’s place, Sharon had second thoughts. She imagined the devastating impact Daniel’s death would have on Heather and Lucy. Cameron tried to persuade her, but Sharon resisted, declaring that murder would not bring Cassie back. Sharon poured out the poison and tried to clean up her mess, telling Cameron to leave her mind.
At the Club, Daniel and Lucy discussed her community service while Daniel reflected on Sharon’s recent apology. He reassured Lucy that things were looking up for them.
As Sharon was leaving Daniel’s apartment, she encountered a surprised Heather.

At Daniel’s, Sharon told Heather she was waiting for Daniel. Heather didn’t believe Sharon. Sharon eventually admitted she broke in because she wanted to tell Daniel to leave town. Sharon became emotional, reliving the pain of losing Cassie, but Heather reminded her that Daniel suffered every day for his role in the tragedy. Heather accused Sharon of hiding something sinister. Sharon tried to leave, but Heather blocked her, threatening to call the police.
In a panic, Sharon knocked Heather down. Then, Sharon blacked out, she awoke to find Heather on the floor, bleeding from the head and unresponsive. Cameron urged her to clean up the mess and reminded her of her plan to poison Daniel. Sharon wrapped Heather’s body in sheets and dragged it to her car, leaving behind a trail of blood.
Following Cameron’s commands, Sharon cleaned up the scene, gathered Heather’s belongings, and drove to a bridge, where she tearfully dumped the body into the water. Overcome with guilt, she prayed for forgiveness before returning to a motel room, weeping over what she had done.
Cameron reassured Sharon that she needed to accept her actions and move on, urging her to hide the truth and create a cover story. Sharon struggled with how to live with the consequences, fearing she would lose everything if she couldn’t pretend nothing happened.

Sharon visited the graveyard, reflecting on dragging Heather’s body from the apartment and dumping it. She wondered how she would ever escape the situation. Standing by Cassie’s grave, she admitted that her actions were not bringing justice or healing.
Sharon expressed her anguish, asking Cassie for guidance, and reflected on whether guilt had always plagued her. She recalled key moments in her life, including her relationship with Nick, recalling how he made her feel loved and protected.
Despite conflicts with others, particularly Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon realized that her relationship with Nick had endured many trials. She remembered their bond, from when Nick adopted Cassie to when they lost her. The loss of Cassie devastated Sharon and led to her downward spiral of shoplifting, drinking, and other destructive behaviors. Despite everything, Sharon acknowledged there were good moments in her life, like Faith’s birth and discovering Cassie’s twin, Mariah.
Sharon wept at Cassie’s grave, recalling both the pain and the love she had experienced as a mother. The memories of her children, especially Mariah and Faith, strengthened her. Realizing she still had her family, Sharon decided what to do. After kissing Cassie’s grave, she walked away, ready to face her next step.
Meanwhile, Nick was preparing to search for Sharon. Mariah and Faith worried about her, but when Sharon finally returned, she reassured them, saying, “I’m okay. Everything is going to be okay.”
