Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) talked with Billy (Jason Thompson) about their difficult situation with Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea. She expressed doubt about her relationship with Adam after his infidelity.
At Chancellor Park, Connor (Judah Mackey), Adam, and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) spent time together, and Adam blamed Chelsea for Sally leaving him. Later, Sally and Chelsea had a tense conversation about Adam’s betrayal.
Elsewhere, Lily (Christel Khalil) had a heartfelt moment with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), discussing Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) legacy and her determination to protect it. Finally, Lily and Billy had a heated argument about her termination, which led Lily to call Victor to discuss Billy.
Lily ran into Lauren (Tracey Bregman) at the jazz lounge, and they talked about how happy they were to be doing what they loved. Lily mentioned her lunch with Nikki and their plans to honor Katherine’s legacy as they talked. Lauren was surprised to hear that Lily was meeting with Victor and confident it would go well. After some encouraging words, Lauren left.
In the foyer, Victor bumped into Billy and mocked him, leading to a tense exchange where Billy asserted they were equals, which amused Victor. Billy warned Victor that he would prove his capabilities, but Victor doubted him, believing Lily was Abbott-Chancellor’s true strength.
Later, Victor met with Lily, who revealed that Billy had fired her after accusing her of plotting against him, which was true. Victor admired Lily’s loyalty to the company and her determination to protect Katherine’s legacy. Lily proposed they work together to take down Billy and restore the company. In return, she wanted to run the company again, and Victor agreed to consider her offer.
Meanwhile, Summer (Allison Lanier) ran into Chance (Conner Floyd) and shared her good mood before he headed to a meeting. Later, Billy and Chance discussed the company’s productivity, with Chance expressing concern over Billy’s ruthless behavior. Billy dismissed his worries, confident in his decisions, but Chance felt uneasy about the company’s direction.
In the park, Sally told Chelsea that her relationship with Adam was over. Despite Chelsea urging her to reconsider, Sally was determined to stay away from Adam to avoid getting hurt again. When Adam arrived, Sally refused to speak to him and walked away. Adam and Chelsea discussed Connor and their past mistakes, agreeing not to dwell on it.
Later, Sally met with Lauren, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and Summer to discuss business but was distracted by thoughts of Adam. After the meeting, Chloe pressed Sally about what was bothering her, and Sally revealed that her relationship with Adam had ended, though she was determined to move forward.
At Abbott-Chancellor, Billy juggled multiple calls related to budgets, press releases, and catering. After finishing a call with someone named Frank, he was surprised to see his daughter Katie (Sienna Mercuri), who reminded him about their lunch plans. Pretending to have remembered, they left together.
Meanwhile, Summer saw Chance at Chancellor Park and happily shared her good news, feeling life was going well thanks to his advice. They discussed Lucy’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) release from the hospital and Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) upcoming discharge. When Summer asked about Chance’s day, he told her about Lily’s dismissal and said he was worried about the company’s future under Billy’s leadership. Summer suggested that Chance didn’t owe Billy loyalty, and Chance considered quitting.
At Crimson Lights, Lucy wasn’t happy that her parents had brought her there, anticipating a lecture. Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom) told her they were worried about her and suggested that Lucy go to therapy. After a stern talk about her drinking and driving, they decided on a punishment, including a donation to Cassie’s Challenge and postponing her Driver’s Ed. Summer was also there. Lucy ran off. Summer told Daniel that they were too lenient. She suggested that Lucy write an apology letter to Faith to help her understand the consequences of her actions.
At the hospital, Sharon (Sharon Case) worried about why Faith was still hospitalized while Lucy had been released. Nick (Joshua Morrow) reassured her, suggesting it might be due to Faith’s past kidney transplant. Later, Faith woke up and was relieved to hear Lucy was home. When Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) visited, Faith apologized, but Phyllis reassured her that neither she nor Lucy was to blame. Sharon was annoyed by Phyllis’s presence, while Nick believed it was good for Faith to release her anxiety.
At Society, Katie asked Billy for advice, but his work kept interrupting. She expressed her desire to become the captain of her field hockey team. Despite the interruptions, Billy eventually turned off his phone to focus on her. He was impressed by her reasoning and encouraged her, though he advised her to handle potential disappointment gracefully. They fist-bumped and ate together before returning to work. Chance showed up at the office, and Billy assumed Chance was there to apologize, but Chance clarified he was not.
At the Abbott estate, Claire (Hayley Erin) showed Kyle (Michael Mealor) that she had packed his son Harrison’s bag, including books on metamorphoses. After a brief playful moment where she picked an eyelash off his cheek, Kyle told her they needed to talk. He suggested revisiting their agreement since Harrison would now be in school all day. Claire wondered if Kyle no longer needed her, but he said he only needed her part-time. She mentioned considering a job offer from her grandmother, Nikki but wasn’t sure if it was the right path for her.
Kyle emphasized that Harrison still needed her and apologized for involving her in the drama between him and Summer. They discussed how hard the situation had been on Harrison, and Kyle reassured Claire that things had calmed down and they were finding common ground. When Kyle asked if Claire wanted to continue as Harrison’s nanny, she confirmed she didn’t plan to leave. Claire wondered if they would stay friends if she stopped working for him. He hoped they would. They shared an awkward moment, and Kyle invited her out for dinner and a movie, and she agreed.
Meanwhile, in the Abbott-Chancellor office, Billy and Chance argued about leadership and recent decisions. Chance expressed concerns about Billy’s erratic behavior and suggested he should become Co-CEO to protect the company. Billy didn’t like that but agreed to consider it if Chance would send him a five-year plan. Chance shocked him by already having a 10-year plan developed.
Elsewhere, Nikki and Victor discussed Billy firing Lily and how it could affect their plans to take over Chancellor. Victor believed they could let Lily think she would regain her position, though Nikki was unsure about deceiving her.
At Society, Jack ran into Lily, and she revealed Billy had fired her, which worried her about the future of the company. Jack offered his support and promised to talk to his brother. Finally, Lily met with Victor and Nikki to discuss her potential return as CEO, and he told her it wasn’t quite a done deal yet.
