At the Abbott mansion, Kyle (Michael Mealor) was surprised to learn that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) have staged their public fights as part of a plan to save him from Victor’s (Eric Braeden) manipulation. While Claire (Hayley Erin) went upstairs to check on Harrison (Redding Munsell), they explained that Victor had been using Kyle to hurt Jack. Kyle struggled to accept that the hateful things they had said to each other were part of a strategy. Diane admitted how hard it had been for her to act so cruelly, while Jack insisted the plan was necessary to protect Kyle. Despite their intentions, Kyle felt betrayed, recalling past wounds caused by his mother’s actions.

Jack and Diane revealed Victor’s scheme to have Diane fire Kyle as part of a larger revenge plot. Although they hated letting Kyle endure public humiliation, they believed it was the only way to break Victor’s hold on him. Jack reassured Diane that their son would eventually understand, but both feared the damage to their relationship might be irreparable. After Claire returned, Kyle left with her, feeling blindsided and unsure how to process his parents’ actions.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Summer (Allison Lanier) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) anxiously awaited updates on Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Chance (Conner Floyd) confirmed Phyllis’s crash might not have been accidental, raising Daniel’s suspicions.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, Sharon tearfully confessed to Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she had killed Heather (Vail Bloom) and framed Daniel. She admitted to having acted out of desperation but decided it was time to face the consequences. Despite Nick’s disbelief, Sharon insisted on coming clean, calling Chance to surrender. Faith (Reylynn Caster) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) were devastated upon learning of Sharon’s confession, struggling to reconcile their mother’s actions.

As Chance arrived to arrest Sharon, Phyllis’ children sat by her hospital bed, fearing the worst but hoping for her recovery.

At the Abbott mansion, Diane worried Kyle might never forgive them and feared their actions could backfire. She worried Victor would learn about their scheme. Jack reassured her, believing time would mend their relationship with Kyle. Diane said she wanted to finalize the Glissade deal and move forward.

At the Genoa City Athletic Club, Kyle vented to Claire about his parents’ deception, feeling betrayed and humiliated. Claire urged him to let go of his anger and consider forgiving them, though Kyle remained skeptical of their intentions.

Meanwhile, Victor told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that Sharon had confessed to Heather’s murder and caused Phyllis’ car accident. Nikki worried about Faith and the family’s turmoil, while Victor lamented the disruption to their plans for Chancellor. They resolved to focus on supporting Nick and Summer.

Later, at the ranch, Diane finalized the Glissade transfer with Victor, who hinted at ulterior motives behind his seemingly generous gesture. Nikki wasn’t happy to see Diane, and she questioned Victor’s rationale but received only cryptic assurances.

At the hospital, Daniel stayed by Phyllis’ bedside. Chance told him that the charges against him had been dropped due to Sharon’s confession. Christine (Lauralee Bell) confirmed Daniel’s newfound freedom, though he struggled to process the news. Daniel acknowledged that Phyllis was right and hoped she would recover soon.

Elsewhere, Sharon was released on bail but remained set on taking responsibility for her actions. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Nick urged her to reconsider, pointing to problems with her medication. Sharon dismissed their arguments, steadfast in her guilt.

Back at the hospital, Summer shared Daniel’s relief over his exoneration, urging Phyllis to wake up. At Sharon’s place, Daniel confronted her, demanding answers.

At Society, Billy (Jason Thompson) called Jack to arrange a meeting, and he ran into Adam (Mark Grossman). Billy accused Adam of orchestrating damaging press on Victor’s behalf. Adam dismissed these claims as non-personal, yet Billy urged him to avoid causing more harm to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Their bickering ended with Billy storming out.

Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Chelsea and Connor (Judah Makey) talked about self-care and plans for his day. Sally (Courtney Hope) arrived, and Connor wanted to be friends. However, Sally declined, citing her busy schedule. After Connor left, Chelsea apologized for the awkwardness. The two women tried to clear the air, but Sally admitted difficulty moving past their shared history. Sally doubted she could forgive Chelsea and said Adam would always prioritize Chelsea. Adam overheard this as Sally exited, leaving him to face Chelsea.

Daniel confronted Sharon at her place. He was furious over her confession to Heather’s death. Despite Nick’s attempts to mediate, Daniel demanded answers, accusing Sharon of causing other tragedies. Sharon, overwhelmed by guilt, broke down and was comforted by Mariah, who reassured her of support.

At the hospital, Nick and Daniel joined Summer at Phyllis’s bedside. Tensions flared over Sharon’s motivations. Daniel insisted on harsh consequences for Sharon, while Nick sought a reasonable explanation. Daniel was adamant about justice.

At a motel, Ian (Ray Wise) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) discussed Sharon’s situation. Ian felt amused by the chaos, and he ordered Jordan to gather information on Sharon’s family. She agreed reluctantly, emphasizing their equal partnership while promising not to fail.

Meanwhile, Michael and Christine discussed Sharon’s case, debating whether an insanity defense would hold up. Christine questioned Sharon’s actions, concerned over Sharon’s deteriorating mental state.

Finally, Diane updated Jack on her dealings with Victor and proposed making Kyle Jabot’s co-CEO to mend family tensions. Jack hesitated, but Diane insisted, willing to relinquish her role for reconciliation. Billy interrupted, leading to another heated exchange.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle found Summer while picking up muffins for Harrison. They discussed the limited explanation Kyle gave their son about Phyllis being in the hospital. Summer, though hopeful for her recovery, struggled to remain composed, and Kyle encouraged her to focus on the positive. Their moment of connection was interrupted when Chance arrived. Summer blamed him for her mother’s condition, accusing him of mishandling Daniel’s arrest and failing to prevent the tragedy. Despite Chance’s defense that he was following evidence, Summer remained angry and ended their relationship, declaring they needed space.

At the hospital, Daniel refused to leave Phyllis’s side, feeling guilty about her condition. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) offered support and suggested therapy, but Daniel wasn’t ready. Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) arrived, brightening the atmosphere with her youthful energy, sharing stories about a new friend, and comforting Daniel. She placed her friendship bracelet on Phyllis’s wrist, pleading for her to wake up. Summer joined them, and as they left Lucy alone with Phyllis, Lucy’s heartfelt plea worked—Phyllis awoke from her coma, leaving everyone overjoyed.

Meanwhile, Billy confided in Jack about losing his company and Jill’s (Jes Walton) decision to sell Chancellor to Victor. Seeking redemption, he asked Jack for a second-in-command position at Jabot. Jack declined, citing cryptic reasons that he promised would soon become clear. Frustrated, Billy stormed out. Later, he shared his struggles with Sally over drinks. Their conversation turned lighthearted, and they bonded over their challenges, eventually sharing a kiss.

At the park, Jack and Diane met to discuss Billy’s situation. Diane proposed making Kyle Jabot’s co-CEO to accommodate Billy, but Jack refused, believing Kyle needed to learn a lesson before returning to the company.

At the GCAC, Sally and Billy shared a passionate kiss at the bar, acknowledging how it kept happening before deciding to head to her suite. Once there, they eventually fell into bed together. Afterward, Billy said he had no regrets, and Sally felt a newfound sense of freedom. Sally admitted to being stuck in her head and was ready to move forward. While acknowledging that their encounter might appear like revenge, both agreed it was more about them moving on. They kissed again, dressed, and grabbed a meal together.

At the hospital, Phyllis woke up surrounded by Lucy, Summer, and Daniel. Disoriented, she gradually recalled the accident, though the details were blurry. Summer reassured her while Daniel informed her that he had been cleared of charges and that Sharon was responsible. Shocked, Phyllis demanded answers and agreed to speak with Chance, who had arrived to question her. As she pieced together her memories, she grew convinced that Sharon had set her up and possibly tried to kill her. She accused Chance of bias, citing his past with Sharon, and demanded her phone to prove her suspicions.

Meanwhile, Adam and Nick joined Victor at the ranch. Victor expressed frustration over Sharon’s release on bail. While Nick defended Sharon, claiming her actions were tied to medication-induced blackouts, Victor remained skeptical. Adam, however, sided with Victor, arguing that Nick was blind to Sharon’s dark side. Victor warned Nick to stay informed about the case and emphasized supporting the family amid the turmoil.

Later, Victor revealed his Chancellor Industries acquisition, naming Nikki as CEO. Adam assumed Victor was motivated by revenge.

At the GCAC, Adam spotted Sally and Billy entering together, kissing, which left him unsettled.
