Phyllis ran into Summer at the GCAC and shared she was headed to Sharon’s for an update from Chance. Phyllis admitted she was still haunted by nightmares and the manipulative mind games, though Summer urged her to let go of the power they held over her.

At home, Sharon packed for her London trip. Nick arrived, revealing he was joining her, which delighted Sharon. They discussed visiting Noah and awaited Chance’s arrival. When Phyllis joined them, Sharon and Nick suggested she take a vacation, but she said work was her focus. Chance showed up with news: the gas device used in the kidnapping had been traced to a psychiatric clinic near Paris. Sharon suspected a possible connection to Ashley and Alan. Chance reacted oddly to Alan’s name but claimed he couldn’t share more. After he left, Phyllis questioned Ashley’s involvement and whether they should delay their trip.

At Society, Claire and Kyle discussed their day. Claire sensed Kyle was hiding something about his work with Jack and suspected it involved Victor. Kyle eventually admitted they were investigating a suspicious employee and asked Claire not to assume it was about her grandfather. They left for a nightcap just as Summer arrived and spotted them, clearly bothered.

Chance joined Summer, and they talked about the kidnapping case. He also pressed her about her feelings for Kyle. Summer broke down and admitted she hated seeing him with Claire and wished she’d disappear. She confessed she couldn’t let go of the future she’d imagined with Kyle.

Meanwhile, Audra met Victor at the jazz lounge. He hinted at a job offer—if she helped pull Kyle away from Claire. Though she was initially offended, Victor promised a powerful role. Nate overheard and questioned what was going on.

At Society, Summer confessed to Chance that she was jealous of Claire. She admitted she hated seeing Claire with Harrison and Kyle putting her on a pedestal, even though she wanted to be mature. Chance appreciated her honesty and asked where that left them. Summer didn’t know, assuming he felt the same way about Abby, but Chance said he wasn’t jealous and thought she had healed more. He urged her to face the hard truths, but she suggested taking time apart. He wanted a timeline, admitting he couldn’t keep going like this. She had no clear answers and left to say goodnight to Harrison. When she said they could talk when ready, Chance told her he was ready. A call pulled him away, and she slipped out.

Meanwhile, at Sharon’s, Phyllis questioned whether Nick and Sharon should go to London while the kidnapping mystery remained unsolved. Nick considered postponing, and Sharon agreed they should wait until things were resolved. Phyllis pushed for them to investigate themselves. Nick looked up Alan and discovered info about Martin, shocking them.

Chance arrived and revealed Alan leased a house near the clinic where they were held, but there was no concrete evidence. He admitted Traci feared Martin, presumed dead, might still be alive.

Later, Jack told Ashley about the abduction and suspicions around Alan. Ashley was horrified and vowed to protect Traci. In her suite, Alan returned, eager to plan the wedding. Traci suggested slowing down, and Alan sensed she was pulling back. When he pressed her, she silently called Jack. As tension rose, the episode closed with a dedication to stagehand Tom McDermott, who passed away in March.

Phyllis found Summer alone at Crimson Lights, where Summer mentioned Harrison had talked about foosball until he fell asleep. Phyllis said there were still no concrete leads in her case, though she mentioned a suspicious gas device and a house leased outside of town. When she brought up Alan, Summer was confused, having met him and found him pleasant. Phyllis explained that Chance suspected Alan had died and his deranged brother Martin had taken his place. Summer was stunned to learn this man had been living with Harrison.

Phyllis tried to comfort her but pressed about her relationship with Chance. Summer admitted they’d ended things because she wasn’t over Kyle. She confessed Chance noticed her resentment toward Claire. Phyllis called that normal but warned against chasing the past. Summer didn’t want Chance to wait while she figured things out.

Elsewhere, Sharon told Nick she was uneasy about her therapy sessions with Alan, wondering if he had manipulated her. Chance interrupted with news: the abductor had been watching from a nearby farmhouse, and Sharon and Phyllis’s old phones had been found. No evidence yet tied Alan, but they were awaiting prints. When Alan’s return was confirmed, Chance rushed to find him.

At the hotel, Traci told Alan she wanted to postpone the wedding. Alan seemed confused and hurt. Sensing something was wrong, Traci had Jack and Ashley listen in. Ashley confronted Alan, suspecting he was Martin. After Alan left upset, Traci broke down, realizing something had changed in him. Ashley insisted it wasn’t Alan at all. When Chance spotted Alan, he approached with questions. Traci arrived and demanded to know who he really was.

At the GCAC, Traci confronted Alan in front of her family and Chance, demanding to know if he was really Alan or Martin. Alan dodged the question, claiming he loved her and accusing Ashley of turning Traci against him. Traci said she’d fallen for a lie, and Jack urged Chance to arrest him. Alan insisted he wasn’t Martin—the man who assaulted Ashley—and that he’d only ever loved Traci. Ashley called him human garbage, and Chance took him in for questioning.

Traci, devastated, blamed herself for bringing danger into their home. Her siblings reassured her it wasn’t her fault. She admitted she was too dazzled to see the truth and feared she’d been a cover for a predator. Jack encouraged her to visit her daughter and reminded her that once Martin was behind bars, they could move forward.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis, Sharon, and Nick discussed the investigation. Phyllis was eager to confront the person responsible. Though there was no hard evidence yet, Nick said the police were close. Sharon believed it had all been part of a twisted experiment.

At the station, Alan claimed he was being targeted because of the Abbotts’ mental health history. Phyllis and Sharon confronted him, accusing him of running experiments on them. He denied it at first but cracked under pressure, calling Martin a genius and admitting he had tried to help Ashley and the others achieve breakthroughs.

Realizing he’d revealed too much, Alan lashed out, and Chance read him his rights. Later, Phyllis and Sharon joined the Abbotts and confirmed Martin had been arrested. Sharon said it was finally over. Traci quietly nodded, still reeling from the betrayal.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle told Claire how much he missed her since the night before, and they shared a kiss. He brought her a drink with whipped cream and complimented her smile, leading to playful banter that turned serious when he asked if she’d consider moving in with him. Claire hesitated, saying it felt too soon and she didn’t want to talk in hypotheticals. Kyle reassured her there was no pressure, but thought living together would help them grow closer. Claire liked the idea but was concerned about Victor’s reaction. She questioned whether Kyle’s motivations were about them or about making a point. He insisted it was just about their relationship. Though tempted, Claire said she needed time to think. They ended the conversation with another kiss.

Meanwhile, Sally met Audra at the GCAC. Audra revealed Victor had offered her a job—with a catch. He wanted her to lure Kyle away from Claire to create scandal. Sally was appalled and warned her it was risky and manipulative. Audra, desperate for a career opportunity and eager for revenge on Kyle, claimed she could easily seduce him again. Sally questioned whether Claire deserved that, but Audra dismissed her concerns, saying she’d just expose Kyle as a player. Despite Sally’s warnings about the consequences, Audra remained confident she could control the situation and protect her relationship with Nate.

Elsewhere, Victoria visited Victor and defended Claire’s relationship with Kyle. Victor disapproved, calling the Abbotts a disaster and fearing Claire would be hurt. Victoria urged him not to sabotage the relationship. After she left, Audra arrived to accept Victor’s job offer—with demands. She wanted her own company, fully funded and under her control. Victor agreed, and the deal was sealed.
