The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, January 2

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) stage a set-to for Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) benefit. Jeremy remains dubious of Diane’s claims of loyalty to him…Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) rumbles that Diane never actually left Genoa City and laments the Abbott’s continued devotion to her.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) treat Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to breakfast at Society. Sharon reflects on what would have been her and Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) wedding anniversary. Mariah and Tessa receive a request for a face-to-face with Delphine, the woman considering them as adoptive parents for her baby.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) takes a pregnancy test — it’s positive…Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) begs Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to stop interfering in his personal life…Victor warns Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) against involving himself with either Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) or Sally.

Young and the Restless Recaps: Tuesday, January 3

Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) offers sound advice to Mariah and Tessa. Afterward, she reminisces with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian)…Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) confides her concerns for Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic); he proffers some hard-earned wisdom…Upon being apprised of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) estrangement from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Chelsea encourages him to put in the effort to save things. Billy and Lily agree that theirs is a relationship worth salvaging.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, January 4

Despite their misgivings, Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sign off on Diane’s plan to lull Jeremy into a false sense of security. Jack insists that Diane move back into the Abbott manse, but she instead moves back into her suite at The Grand Phoenix…Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) put Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) on notice; he swore that he’d win her over in the end. Later, Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) make love for the second time.

Tucker suggests to Diane that she do her utmost to run Jeremy out of town…Phyllis updates Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). The women are incredulous over Jack’s infatuation with Diane…Ashley catches Jack and Diane in a compromising position.

Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) extends an olive branch to Phyllis, but Phyllis declines to hear her daughter out. Summer huffs to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) that her mother-in-law just might cost her her relationship with Phyllis and her marriage to Kyle…Tucker floats the idea of a teaming up between him and Phyllis.

Adam overhears Sally making a doctor’s appointment, but she covers…Devon is chagrined to learn that Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) intend to forge ahead with taking Chancellor-Winters public. A distinctive notification ringer tips Devon off to collusion between Tucker and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Ashley and Jack vehemently disagree about Diane’s presence in the Abbott abode…Abby and Daniel chat. Abby ditches her wedding ring…Daniel makes overtures to Heather to no avail…Summer tells Kyle that she wants to attend a textile show in Paris with Harrison in tow.

Young and the Restless Recaps: Friday, January 6

Jeremy ordered Diane to prove her loyalty and to do it in a big way. She decides to thieve something of great value from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)…Sharon and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) commiserated with one another…Lily and Billy call it quits — for good this time…Nick and Sally reconnect, though she keeps mum about her pregnancy.
