The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, July 4
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) interrupts a set-to between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) recount the events that led to their breakup with Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) respectively. Summer lays into Phyllis, and the castigation is overheard by a delighted Diane.
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) bonded over a produced for radio murder mystery… Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) confided the latter’s medical malady to Kyle. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) soothed Tessa’s fears.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, July 5
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) floats the idea of building a hotel that would cater to the needs of Chancellor-Winters… Elena and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) partake in a spot of afternoon delight. Afterward, Elena heads for the airport. Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) tells Nate that she’s finding it difficult to break Elena’s contract with Newman Enterprises; he commits himself to join Imani in fighting the good fight, unwittingly falling into the schemer’s trap.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) returns home and requests the pleasure of Nicholas Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) company. They reconnect, much to Nicholas’s delight. Victoria calls a family meeting. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) sulks, sure in the knowledge that he’s about to be elbowed out of the top spot by his sister… Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) charters a private plan and routes it to Chicago.

Victoria recounts her successful scheme to recoup the $250 million Ashland scarpered with; Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is impressed. Adam balks and takes his leave of the group. Victoria offers Nicholas a job at Newman Enterprises… Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) offers the COOship at Newman Media to Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson); Chloe hedges.
Allie accepted an internship at Jabot… Diane and Phyllis sparred. Jack happens upon the scene at a most inopportune moment. Phyllis unleashes on her ex and warns him that he’ll soon realize he threw away a good thing.

Nicholas gives Victoria’s offer serious consideration… Victor admonishes Adam for storming off during Victoria’s summation and lays out his vision for the future – Newman Enterprises manned by all three Newman siblings… Ashland tasks an underling with shadowing Victoria… Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) dissolves her and Chloe’s partnership.

Sally grows concerned over the current state of affairs. Jack cautions her to be wary of a vengeance-minded Adam… With a little guidance from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Nicholas decides to accept Victoria’s offer… Chelsea gauges Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) interest in her joining him on his podcast. Victoria encourages Billy to use his platform to destroy Ashland.
