The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, June 19, 2020, brings to a close a classic wedding week with the wedding of a classic couple that has had many classic weddings… and divorces.

Victor and Nikki tie the knot again on March 18, 2013, while an evil senator plots to get rid of anyone who stands in his evil senator way. Ashley makes yet another return trip home where she and Jack make up yet again from yet another sibling spat, and Lauren makes a cranky guest while Billy brings a welcome one.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) swear that this is their absolutely last time getting married. Nikki claims she’s hanging up her bouquet. Billy (Billy Miller) brings a special surprise in the form of a visiting Reed – younger, blonder, and less angsty. Victor is then forced to grudgingly thank him.

But as everyone basks in the happiness of true love, Senator Wheeler (Mark Pinter) is talking to a henchman named Bob about wiping out Victor, once and for all. Bob knows what he needs to do. And he prepares to do it…

Bad Taste

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wears an overly formal gown to drop by Jack’s (Peter Bergman) Jabot office to tell him that dating Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) again is a very bad idea. Jack says Phyllis was really there for him while he was detoxing. Ashley suspects that Jack needs to detox from Phyllis. Phyllis comes in to give her side.

And the Rest

Lauren (Tracey Bregman) is in a bitchy mood, but flirting with a hunk named Carmine makes her feel better.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) brings Avery as his date, and Victor and Summer (Hunter King) make polite if unenthusiastic small talk with her. Also, a tiny and adorable Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind)! And The Bold and the Beautiful’s Eric (John McCook)! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
