The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 26 features memories of days gone by.
Connecting The Cassie
The GC Buzz stage set the tone for a special holiday episode full of memories, memorials, and the coming together of families. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) read fan mail on the air and each letter curiously coincided with the goings on around town.
A Love That Never Dies
Still alone, Victor (Eric Braeden) took an unconscious Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) on a tear-jerking walk down their memory lane. He remembered their first holiday by a roaring fire, Nikki opening her show-stopping white fur coat, and her preparing for the concert in the park.
Seeing this wasn’t enough to wake Nikki up, so Victor crawled in bed with his dying wife and laid beside her.
Devon (Bryton James) celebrated his first Christmas since Hilary’s death with Ana (Loren Lott) and Nate (Brooks Darnell) by his side. They shared stories of their greatest moments and their darkest days, all while feasting on mac and cheese and Devon and Ana’s grandmother’s lemon bars.
Christmas Past
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Dina (Marla Adams) relived her giving him his infamous nickname (Jacky with a Y, not an IE) and the time they spent Christmas alone. These were good days for Jack and some of the only times Dina came through.
A Time For Family
Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) was noticeably missing from Vicky’s (Amelia Heinle) Christmas celebration, which Billy (Jason Thompson) made into a special day. The children were treated to Mom and Dad together as they opened presents, built a snow fort, and drank hot chocolate.
Memories Of Delia
Billy’s only regret was not having Delia also by his side. They made a family she loved and didn’t get to enjoy for long enough. She was the light of his life and her loss makes him appreciate Johnny and Katie so much more.
