The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, June 30 features an episode from December 14, 1994. It’s part of Christine and Paul week. Except that Paul is barely in it. This episode is about his mom, Mary, being a party pooper. Also at the party is Dru, who has a much more interesting secret that Chris’ naughty party toys. Meanwhile, Nikki and Victor have a political discussion, while John and Jack play politics with Jill.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Paul’s (Doug Davidson) mother, Mary (Carolyn McCormick), crashes Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) bridal shower. The ladies are bummed since they now have to be on their best behavior. Unable to get raunchy, they focus on Dru (Victoria Rowell) not drinking and she admits she’s pregnant. She doesn’t, however, admit that the baby’s paternity is in question.

Medicare For All

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is furious that Victor (Eric Braeden) paid for Sharon’s (Sharon Case) mother’s operation. Doesn’t he realize that a dependence on private charity is exactly what’s keeping America from adopting a single-payer medical insurance system?

Well, OK, she doesn’t say that. But isn’t that a better reason than, “Victor, darling, I wish you’d left a needy woman to drop dead because I don’t want her social-climbing daughter getting her hooks into our precious Nicholas.”

This Boy Is Mine

Jill (Jess Walton) has a plan to take her little boy Billy and move to Los Angeles, as far away from his dad, John (Jerry Douglas), as possible. But John and Jack (Peter Bergman) aren’t about to let this Abbott heir go anywhere outside their jurisdiction.

They’re playing Jill with both the LA job offer and custody of Billy. Eventually, she’ll have to choose. And they’re betting she’ll be true to herself and go for the money before the child any day of the week. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
