The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, March 12, 2021, sees Billy taking offense at Victoria’s concern, Sharon and Rey finally digging into their issues, Abby and Mariah making big plans, and Devon and Elena saying one thing while doing another.
Billy (Jason Thompson) wondered to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) why she thought she needed to buy Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) company in order to protect him. Billy voices his frustration that she still saw him as someone whose messes she needed to clean up. The two speak like adults for what feels like the first time in years. It ends with Victoria blurting out that she still loves him.
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) find a therapist who is willing to come to their home. Rey voices his frustrations at Sharon’s ongoing attachment to Adam (Mark Grossman). Sharon voices her frustration at Rey punishing her for the way Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo (Jason Canela) treated him.
They agree that one hour of therapy isn’t enough. They have to spend the rest of the time really working on the issues that shatter them both. The two speak like adults for what feels like the first time in years. It ends with Rey getting dizzy and passing out.
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon (Bryton James) agree that they still have feelings for each other, but he also has feelings for Amanda (Mishael Morgan). They can’t see each other anymore. But then Elena has something in her eye, and, well, they end up having sex. Afterward, Elena tells Devon she can’t be his bit on the side.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are excited about the baby they’re having together. Mariah gives Abby a cute gift. Shouldn’t that be the other way around? Mariah is the one doing Abby the favor, no? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
