The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 8 features much corporate intrigue, as Billy suggested Victoria stick it to Victor by moving to Jabot, and Kyle saw it as a threat to his own position. Plus, Devon fired Theo and Phyllis took matters into her own hands.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) confessed to Billy (Jason Thompson) that Victor (Eric Braeden) had demoted her — and she had to find out from a reporter. Billy suggested Victoria make the move to Jabot.
Jack (Peter Bergman) was cool with the idea, but Kyle (Michael Mealor) insisted Billy should run it by him, first. They’re equals, remember? Billy smirked and showed Kyle out of Jack’s office… as he took a seat in the big chair.
The argument turned out to be for nothing — well, save humiliating Kyle — as Victoria says she was not ready to make the move. She needs to stick it to her dad, first.
Bad Day Blues
Devon (Bryton James) fired Theo (Tyler Johnson) for not getting along with Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Later, Lola (Sasha Calle) almost made him faint again by pretending to cut her finger and dousing it in ketchup. The two are actually getting along well until Theo pushed too much about Kyle and Lola felt he was working her.
The Young and the Restless Recap: Blame Game
Summer (Hunter King) was still mad at the Newmans for lying to her, while Nate (Sean Dominic) confronted Amanda (Mishael Morgan) about hurting his family. She reminded him that he faked a patient’s death. So… how did the chemistry test go?
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tried to get info about Chance out of Amanda but got nothing. Phyllis remembered Cane (Daniel Goddard) heading to Las Vegas to find Adam (Mark Grossman) — and beat Cane to the punch, joining Adam at the poker table. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
