The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 8 celebrates International Women’s Day by putting various women in their places. Victoria is lectured by Victor on how not to make business personal, Rey explains to Sharon why therapy is important, Jack overrules Jill, and Chelsea makes her recovery all about Adam.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) wants to buy a media company as a way to get back at Billy (Jason Thompson), and he wants Adam (Mark Grossman) to run it as a way of keeping Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in line.
Victor then explains to Victoria how she shouldn’t make business decisions based on personal feelings. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is unamused by all of it. She hates him pitting his kids against each other. Victor reminds her that he is not a nice man.
Meanwhile, Billy and Lily (Christel Khalil) want to buy the same media company in order to put Victor in check. Jill (Jess Walton) declined to give them money to pursue their pipe dream, but Jack (Peter Bergman) is willing. Especially if it means stealing something from Victor. Everyone is terribly professional.
Homefront
As Adam wheels and deals and returns to Victor’s orbit mere months after he first tried to kill him, then signed documents to sever their connection, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is plotting with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to escape his hold. Step one is pretending to still be paralyzed. Chloe begs her not to obsess over getting revenge on Adam. Chloe tried it. It didn’t go well.
Listening Tour
Sharon (Sharon Case) agrees to go to marriage counseling with Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and purge Adam from their lives. Later, Faith (Ayvia Alyn Lind) agrees to work to fix her relationship with her mother. It is difficult to assess which one is less sincere. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
