The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, April 13, 2020, features Adam celebrating a victory as Victoria plotted his downfall, while Nick and Phyllis went back to the beginning, and Billy and Lily, and Nate and Amanda looked forward.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) wanted Victor (Eric Braeden) to praise him for what a great job he did, blackmailing Daddy into letting him be CEO of Newman Enterprises. Say we’re exactly the same, say it! Victor wondered what Hope would think of Adam’s actions, but Adam wasn’t in the mood.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told Alyssa that Adam used her. He’s not going to publish her article (did he even pay her for it?). Alyssa was shocked and added that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was in on it, too. Victoria told Alyssa to sit tight, she’ll take care of this. And Alyssa has reasons to trust a Newman now… why?

In It To Win It

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was afraid to get back together with Nick (Joshua Morrow) because she didn’t want him to hurt her again. Nick said he won’t. Well, that’s settled! Let’s have sex again, remember the good times, and pretend that the bad times will never come back again. We’re so much older and wiser now, aren’t we?

Dynamic Duo

Billy (Jason Thompson) bugged Lily (Christel Khalil) by playing golf in her office and looking over her shoulder. He pitched marketing ideas she doesn’t like. They squabbled, then agreed they should work together. All is well. Until next time.

Amanda and Nate: Date Night

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Nate (Sean Dominic) went on their first, official date. They talked about their pasts. Viewers know Nate’s story – he was born on the air! Amanda said she was given up as a baby. Hmmm… interesting. They discussed Ripley, then bowling. So, you know, a typical first date. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
