The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, March 5, 2021 puts Adam back in the forefront of Genoa City, as Victor uses him to manipulate Victoria, Billy uses him to manipulate Jill, and Chelsea can’t stop thinking about him. Plus, Kyle bursts in on Jack and Sally, while Summer can’t imagine anyone not wanting to be her.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Sally (Courtney Hope) and Jack (Peter Bergman) are just starting to heat up when Kyle (Michael Mealor) bursts in, needing to talk to his daddy. Sally discreetly leaves, and Kyle, instead of getting to his own point, wants to know what’s going on. Jack feels no need to explain himself, and asks his son what’s up? Kyle tries to ask his dad about Kyle’s alleged son without giving any specific details whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Sally runs into Summer (Hunter King), tells her how happy she is, and expresses hope they can be friends someday. Summer remains convinced that Sally is so envious of Summer’s life that she will do anything to steal it. Sally just thinks she’s happy with her own life.

Madame, I’m Adam

Victor (Eric Braeden) offers Adam (Mark Grossman) the chance to run the media company he plans to buy. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is convinced Adam is only interested in the job so he can stay in Genoa City and keep seeing Sharon (Sharon Case). She also manages to stand up (in secret). Who needs a physical therapist when revenge is such a good motivator?

Victor uses his offer to Adam as a way to try and manipulate Victoria (Amelia Heinle) into buying the media company for Newman. Victoria isn’t biting…yet.

Billy (Jason Thompson) uses Victor wanting to buy the company for Adam as a way to try and manipulate Jill (Jess Walton) into buying it for ChanceComm. Jill wonders what Lily (Christel Khalil) thinks about that.

Finally, Victoria uses Billy’s past as a way to manipulate Lily into thinking that he’ll eventually flake on her the way he has flaked on everything else. But that’s not all she has on her plate — she tries to outbid her father to acquire Ashland Locke’s company for herself! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
