The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 5 features politics on Election Day as Nick continues his campaign — piquing Phyllis’ curiosity, while Adam neededChelsea’s help, and Mariah and Tessa told each other how wonderful they are.
The Young and the Restless Recap: Vote Nick!
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discuss Nick running for office and the pitfalls that come with the Newman name. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) compliments her two ex-husbands for choosing her hotel to do business in, but she tells Nick she’s worried politics will change who he truly is. It would be ironic if, after everything, it was becoming a politician that finally turns Nick into Victor (Eric Braeden).
Abby sees Phyllis hugging her brother and warns her business partner away from Nick. Phyllis observes that so many people are telling her not to… she just might go there again.
Chelsea and Adam: Night Terrors
Connor (Judah Mackey) had a nightmare and Adam (Mark Grossman) called Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to come over and deal. Chelsea calmed the boy down and offered tips to Adam on how he can do it next time.
After she left, Connor said he likes having Mommy around (then why all the tantrums until you got to live with Dad, smart guy). Adam agrees… and the wheels begin turning. At home, Chelsea wonders if the nightmare was just a ploy to get her over there.
Party Time
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) threw an anniversary party for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), where friends like Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) toasted them, and even Sharon (Sharon Case) admitted the relationship has been good for both women… despite Sharon’s misgivings.
Mariah and Tessa shared a romantic dance, while Sharon and Rey did the same, inspired by the younger pair. Also, Kyle still doesn’t trust Theo (Tyler Johnson). The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
