Devon (Bryton James) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) met at Crimson Lights after testing wedding cakes. Nate (Sean Dominic) arrived, curious about the wedding location, but they explained it would be a surprise. Abby kissed Devon and left. Nate wondered if Abby would be upset when she learned about her father’s actions towards Lily (Christel Khalil). Devon admitted he hadn’t informed her yet and planned to confront Victor after the wedding.

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) praised Adam (Mark Grossman) for an article attacking Billy (Jason Thompson), and they discussed Victor’s feud with Jack (Peter Bergman). Victor justified his anger, blaming Jack for almost causing Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) death. Adam worried about involving Newman Media in the fight and warned Victor that Kyle (Michael Mealor) might disappoint him. Abby interrupted, asking for details about the wedding, but Victor refused to reveal anything.

At the Genoa City Athletic Club, Billy confronted Lily for ratting him out to Jill (Jess Walton). They taunted each other, with Billy refusing to reconcile. Nikki approached Lily, hoping to repair their relationship, but Lily felt betrayed. Despite Nikki offering to raise her salary, Lily refused to return to Chancellor.

Later, Devon and Nate approached Lily, asking her to return to Winters, but she remained determined to fight for control of Chancellor. She believed Jill would eventually side with her over Billy. Meanwhile, Sally (Courtney Hope) ran into Adam at Crimson Lights, leading to an awkward exchange, and later bonded with Billy over drinks in the jazz lounge. The night ended with Sally and Billy kissing, sharing stories and laughing.

Kyle was at home, upset after his parents’ public fight. Claire (Hayley Erin) dropped by, and Kyle mentioned he was working from home while Harrison (Redding Munsell), dressed as a cowboy, excitedly planned a farm trip. Claire playfully chased Harrison upstairs to get his jacket, and they convinced Kyle to join them on the outing.

At Chancellor Park, Natemet Devon to discuss Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and his interest in hiring Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Devon wasn’t interested in hiring Audra because he didn’t trust her. They also discussed Lily’s stubbornness over her recent firing.

Audra met Lily at Society and sympathized with Victor’s wrongdoing of both of them. Audra revealed she violated her NDA and that Victor had fired her. Lily advised Audra to take control and trust herself. Later, Nate joined them, and when he suggested helping Audra, Audra wasn’t happy. She remained determined to reclaim Glissade and take down Kyle.

Meanwhile, Adam and Victor discussed Billy. Adam was happy to attack Billy, while Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) arrived with Connor’s (Judah Mackey) shin guards. Victor praised Chelsea as a mother and implied she was a better match for Adam than Sally. Chelsea and Adam later discussed their relationship, with Chelsea insisting they remain co-parents despite Adam’s hopes for more.

On the Crimson Lights patio, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) brought Billy coffee. She asked to work for him in stealth mode, but he declined. Sally showed up after Phyllis went inside. Phyllis watched Billy and Sally interact and was frustrated. After Sally left, Phyllis told Billy that Victor had published a scathing article about him, suggesting he was in over his head. Phyllis urged Billy to fight back.

Kyle, Claire, and Harrison returned from the farm, and Kyle confided in Claire about the pain caused by his parents’ arguments. She comforted him, knowing he was deeply hurt.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) found Phyllis at Society, where she hadn’t touched her meal. Concerned, he asked what was wrong, and she revealed that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) were trapped in a nightmare. Daniel was being framed for a crime, and they were even banned from their home.

Phyllis believed someone was trying to destroy her family, and she suggested Nick ask Sharon (Sharon Case) about the situation. Nick dismissed this, which enraged Phyllis, who claimed Sharon killed Heather to frame Daniel. Despite Phyllis’ accusations, Nick refused to believe Sharon was involved, leading to a heated argument.

Meanwhile, Chance (Conner Floyd) and his forensics team searched Daniel’s home and found evidence indicating (Vail Bloom) Heather had been bludgeoned and dragged out. They also discovered blood on a paperweight. Phyllis met with Chance, pleading for him to believe Daniel’s innocence and pointing fingers at Sharon. Chance, however, refused to accept that Sharon could be the murderer, reminding Phyllis of her own biases.

At the same time, Daniel confronted Sharon, accusing her of lying about her last conversation with Heather. Sharon claimed Heather feared him, but Daniel rejected this, suspecting Sharon was hiding the truth. He was desperate to clear his name and protect Lucy from the fallout.

Sharon wrestled with guilt and flashbacks of dumping Heather’s body. Cameron (Linden Ashby) urged her to remain calm and not confess, while Nick offered support, promising to help her face the situation. Overwhelmed by her emotions, Sharon cried out that she couldn’t take it anymore.

Daniel later confided in Danny (Michael Damian) about the situation, expressing deep concern for Lucy and the possibility that the real killer might still be after his family.

Traci (Beth Maitland) was shocked to see Diane carrying suitcases down the stairs at the Abbott mansion. She learned that Jack had asked Diane to move out. Traci thought it was crazy, but Jack insisted things were bad.

Traci presumed they were going through a rough patch. However, Jack and Diane explained that they had a big argument at the club, and Jack was seeking an annulment, accusing Diane of lying. Diane denied the accusations, and Traci urged them to work things out, reminding them of their love. Jack refused, stating their relationship was broken, and informed Diane that the coveted corner office was no longer hers.

Kyle arrived and learned about the situation. He revealed that he played a part in their troubles and believed they deserved it. Traci was stunned, especially after discovering that Diane had fired Kyle and Jack had done nothing to stop it. Jack was distraught, and Traci comforted him, urging him not to rush into any decisions. Jack asked her to stay out of it.

Meanwhile, Daniel and Lucy were at Society. Lucy wanted to go home, but Daniel explained that he was a suspect in a case. Daniel wanted to send her to be with her grandfather. Lucy resisted, and they argued until Summer intervened. Christine (Lauralee Bell), who joined them, agreed with Daniel’s decision, warning that Lucy could be traumatized by the ongoing investigation. Outside, Summer explained to Lucy that it might be best for her to leave for her father’s sake.

At the club, Diane removed her wedding rings and tearfully talked to Kyle, who questioned whether she truly loved him and Jack. Diane insisted her love was real, but Kyle doubted her intentions, believing she prioritized success and power over her family.

Christine met Chance at Crimson Lights, surprising him with her call. She explained that she was there for Daniel in case he needed legal help. Christine inquired about the evidence in the case, and Chance admitted it was piling up. He mentioned that the District Attorney would decide soon whether to press charges, and although Christine hoped they had the wrong person, Chance wasn’t sure.

Meanwhile, Daniel helped Lucy pack up their suite. Despite her reluctance to leave, Daniel reassured her that going to stay with her rockstar grandfather was the best option for her. They shared an emotional moment, reminiscing about difficult times and making friendship bracelets. Lucy expressed fear for her father and guilt over the harsh things she said to Heather. Daniel comforted her, promising that things would work out and they would celebrate Heather’s life later.

At Billy’s office, Phyllis vented about Daniel’s situation. She believed Sharon was framing Daniel for Heather’s murder and that Chance was blindly following the evidence. Billy dismissed her theory as outrageous, suggesting that Phyllis take care of herself instead of spiraling. Despite her insistence, Billy couldn’t deal with her, and Phyllis left.

Later, Diane confronted Victor and Nikki at the GCAC, announcing her separation from Jack. Nikki wasn’t surprised, and Diane defended herself, blaming Jack for their split. She also expressed bitterness over Kyle’s betrayal. After the tense encounter, Diane bumped into Phyllis, who coldly reminded her of their animosity.

As the day ended, Chance arrested Daniel for Heather’s murder.
