Nate (Sean Dominic) met Audra (Zuleyka Silver) in the jazz lounge, where she revealed she had been fired. She hadn’t wanted to burden him while he was away, but Nate assured her he was there for support. Audra explained how difficult it was to lose her chance to prove herself. Nate offered silent encouragement, reminding her she had faced tough situations before and would overcome this setback. They shared a kiss, but Audra was still not ready to commit.
Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) met Devon (Bryton James) at Society, venting her frustrations about Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Victor had rejected her, and Nikki had revealed everything. Lily felt betrayed, particularly since she had thought she could outsmart Victor. She also resented Nikki’s offer of a job. Devon encouraged her to return to the family business, but Lily refused to leave the fight. She was determined to prove everyone wrong and use their underestimation of her to her advantage.
At Crimson Lights, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) handled business calls, trying to prevent Glissade from launching a project stolen from them. They argued about Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Diane later met with Michael (Christian Le Blanc), confessing her exhaustion over the ongoing drama. Meanwhile, Victor and Nikki talked about the fallout with Lily. Nikki admitted she had told Lily the truth. Victor wasn’t alarmed, believing this was the beginning of the end for Billy at Chancellor.
Billy (Jason Thompson) ran into Sally (Courtney Hope) in the park, and they briefly chatted with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam. Later, Lily called Jill, explaining how things were falling apart at Chancellor. Jill was shocked to learn that Billy had hired Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and vowed to stop him from destroying the company.
Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) ran into Faith (Reylynn Caster) at Crimson Lights and broke down, sobbing over her mom’s death. Faith comforted her, acknowledging how difficult this was and warning Lucy not to drink. Lucy admitted she had abstained from alcohol in honor of her mom but was overwhelmed by the pain and unfairness of the situation. Faith encouraged her to keep her mother alive in her heart, and Lucy tearfully thanked her, hoping for forgiveness for past issues. Faith reassured her, holding her hands as Lucy cried.
Meanwhile, Summer (Allison Lanier) and Chance (Conner Floyd) had a quiet dinner at the Athletic Club. Chance talked about how frustrating Heather’s case had been, wishing Daniel (Michael Graziadei) would let him search the apartment for clues. Summer was surprised but supported him. Chance received a text from Daniel, inviting him over to search.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Daniel discussed the case at Daniel’s condo. Phyllis urged her son to let the investigation proceed despite both of them doubting Heather had an affair. Daniel finally agreed, though he maintained that what happened to Heather was an accident. Chance later searched the apartment and discovered Heather’s phone and bloodied towels, further complicating the case.
At Chancellor park, Sharon (Sharon Case) set up a picnic for Nick (Joshua Morrow). She wanted to thank him for his support and remembered their early days together.
At the same time, Billy (Jason Thompson) had a tense conversation with Jill (Jess Walton), who confronted him about his recent decisions at Chancellor. She criticized his handling of the company and warned him to fix things. Jill demanded that Billy fire Phyllis and reconcile with Lily, or she would regain control.
Audra called an old colleague at Glissade, seeking gossip, but they hung up on her. Then she approached Jack at the GCAC. Audra apologized for her actions with Tucker and brought up his conflict with Diane, implying that Kyle was likely happy about their issues. Jack assumed she wanted payback for being fired, but Audra vented about Kyle and revealed that Victor was the silent investor influencing his son. Jack already suspected this. Audra suggested they make a deal—she could acquire Glissade, and he could get his son back. Jack rejected the offer, saying he would handle Kyle and Victor himself. Audra pointed out that she had violated her NDA and expected something in return, but Jack dismissed her, warning she would never beat Victor.
Meanwhile, Adam told Victor about Newman Media’s success, and Victor assigned him to create a buzz about the mess at Chancellor, focusing on making Billy look out of control. Victor also instructed Adam to smooth over Audra’s exit from Glissade, ensuring the real story didn’t come out. Adam expressed concern about harming Jack’s family, but Victor insisted that Jabot’s destruction didn’t matter if Glissade succeeded. After their argument, Adam spoke to Michael, asking for details on Victor’s plan to target Jack. Michael claimed to know nothing but speculated that Jack and Diane could handle whatever Victor had in store.
At Daniel’s place, Chance discovered bloodied towels and Heather’s phone in the apartment. After unlocking the phone, Chance saw an unsent text to Paul, where Heather mentioned fighting with Daniel and his resurfacing anger issues. Daniel was shocked and questioned whether he was now a suspect as Chance declared the apartment a crime scene.
At Crimson Lights, Jack became frustrated with Diane’s refusal to talk. Diane urged Jack to take legal action against Kyle for corporate theft. However, Jack argued that Kyle wasn’t a thief and the evidence was weak. Diane accused Jack of being in denial about their son, claiming their relationship was over and that they should accept it. She believed Victor was manipulating Kyle, but Jack maintained that Kyle needed to be held accountable for his actions. Diane, tired of the situation, stormed out, with Jack following her.
On the patio, Claire (Hayley Erin), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) watched the Abbott’s tense interaction. Claire explained how vindictive Kyle had become at work, especially toward his parents. Her mom urged her not to get involved in the Abbott family drama, but Claire struggled since she was caught in the middle. Despite her parents’ advice to stay out of it, Claire believed she could help Kyle and left to meet him.
Later, at the jazz lounge, Kyle met with Victor to celebrate the success of their product launch, a move that validated Kyle’s decision to oust Audra. Victor warned him that Jack wouldn’t let their actions slide, but Kyle dismissed any concerns, confident that no theft could be proven. Soon after, Jack confronted Victor at the lounge, accusing him of corrupting Kyle. Their argument escalated, with Jack claiming Victor was out for revenge due to Jack’s involvement with Nikki. Jack stormed off.
At the GCAC, Diane confronted Kyle, expressing disbelief over how far he had fallen. Diane threatened to go to the police. Jack showed up, but instead of defending Diane, he declared that the situation had gone too far. Victor watched their drama.

Summer urged Daniel to get a lawyer at Chancellor Park, fearing he could be arrested. Phyllis reassured her son, reminding him of their strength as a family. They speculated about who could be framing him. Phyllis suspected Sharon, but Daniel was skeptical. Phyllis pointed out that Sharon had been at his place and made up a story about Heather fearing him, followed by the sudden appearance of incriminating evidence.
Daniel accused his mother of holding onto past grudges against Sharon. Still, Phyllis insisted that Sharon was capable of such actions, recalling past confrontations between them, including Sharon pushing her into a chocolate fountain and later down a flight of stairs. While Summer argued Sharon acted in self-defense in the past, Phyllis remained convinced Sharon could have been involved in framing Daniel, possibly as the result of a fight that spiraled into a tragic accident.
Phyllis reflected on her tumultuous past, recounting several stories to Lucy, including her antics with Danny (Michael Damian) and her failed attempts at creating a normal family. She admitted to lying and manipulating in the past but insisted she had changed because of her children. Despite her misdeeds, Phyllis vowed to prove her son’s innocence.
