The Young and the Restless recap for today brings Nikki Newman giving Victor confirmation of what he suspected about the robbery in Chicago.

Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

In addition to Nikki and Victor’s enlightening moments, Nick realized their father did something to hurt Sally. Plus, Victoria let Nate know she had a plan for taking down Tucker while Elena told Mariah and Tessa her concerns about her boyfriend and Audra. Phyllis dropped her woes about Daniel on Michael and Lauren as Summer (Allison Lanier) and Daniel talked about their mom’s unraveling and her worries over Kyle and her grandpa. Now let’s dive deeper into what happened.

Nikki Newman: Suspicious Minds

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) discussed his plans for Adam, and she had lots of advice, but Victor knew best. Talk turned to his idea to take over McCall Industries to give Adam (Mark Grossman) something to do. Nikki hated the whole idea because he’d renew his enemy status with both Tucker and Jack, and he’d be upset when Adam once again rejected him. Of course, Victor didn’t believe any of those things were problems.

He had something else to discuss — the Chicago break-in. Jack and Diane were behind it because they did it to set up Jeremy Stark. Victor wanted to know when Nikki was going to tell him, and she admitted how upset she was to realize what they’d done. In fact, she nearly spilled the whole thing to Chance. He wondered why she didn’t, but Nikki said Jack and Diane had been careful not to implicate themselves. In the end, Nikki was relieved that Jeremy was off the streets, so she was willing to look the other way.

Victor wasn’t so happy, though. He was furious that Jack had broken into their home. Nikki griped about Diane, but Victor insisted that she put that woman out of her mind because she was Jack’s problem — not theirs.

At Society, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) talked about Sally again. He wasn’t pleased about Victor’s constant disparaging remarks about Sally or his sister’s similar ones. He let Victoria know that his relationship with Sally was his business. He was tired of defending Sally, and he asked Victoria to keep any negative thoughts about the lady in his life to herself.

Sally called in the middle of their meal, and Victoria eagerly listened as her brother exclaimed in shock about something Jill did. After he hung up, Nick told Victoria that Jill had canceled on Sally and Chloe after having them fly to Los Angeles. Victoria thought Jill was just worried about Chancellor-Winters’s turmoil, but Nick thought there was something more going on, and he vowed to get to the bottom of it.

Later, Nick showed up at Newman Enterprises, and he confronted his dad about interfering in Sally’s meeting with Jill.

Young and the Restless: Heartbreak Hotel

Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) enjoyed a meal at Society. She was on cloud nine after her award, and they remarked on how lovely it was to see Fen and his boyfriend. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) walked in, and they invited her to join them. As they talked, she complained that she just couldn’t win with her kids. Of course, they knew about Summer firing her, but she also said all she wanted to do was support Daniel, but Michael presumed there was more to the story.

Phyllis confided that Chancellor-Winters might not be the home of Omega Sphere because the company is in limbo — of course, that couldn’t leave the table. Obviously. She admitted that she’d shopped the project around just in case, and both Lauren and Michael thought she’d gone way too far. Phyllis disagreed, and she declared that she couldn’t win.

Michael pointed out that there was a common denominator in her problems with her kids — Diane. Phyllis denied it, though. They both thought that her previous conflict with Daniel might have had a cumulative effect. She admitted that things hadn’t gone well for her son, and things went south with Heather and Lucy. Phyllis cried about Daniel not doing well and how much was riding on his project.

As they talked, Phyllis had an epiphany on how to solve the problem — Heather is the key. Phyllis wanted to go to Heather to convince her that she should give Daniel another chance. Neither Lauren nor Michael thought that was a good idea. They pointed out how it would be Phyllis meddling with Daniel again. Ultimately, Lauren advised Phyllis to call Heather once, but if she didn’t pick up or respond, to let it go. However, Phyllis decided to go to Portugal to talk to Heather and Lucy face-to-face.

Kyle Abbott: Moving Forward

At Jabot, Kyle (Michael Mealor) asked somebody to bring him all the information on Adam’s account. Later, Summer walked in on Kyle as he looked through a file. She wanted to know what it was, but he played it off. Summer still seemed suspicious, but Daniel interrupted them, wanting to talk. They went for a walk, and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) complained about their mom.

He noticed something was off with his sister, and Summer admitted she got a feeling that Kyle was hiding something from her. She explained how Victor was trying to drag Kyle into his scheme to oust Adam from Jabot. Daniel compared it to their mom doing the same type of thing. Summer declared Victor manipulating Adam wasn’t going to work out any better this time than any other. She hoped that Kyle hadn’t gone against her advice.

Daniel updated his sister on what Phyllis had done. Summer didn’t blame her brother, and he pointed out it was the same thing their mom had done to her. Daniel hoped that Phyllis might take a long look at her behavior and reign it in — he wasn’t holding his breath.

Victor showed up at Jabot, and he wanted to know what Kyle had for him. Kyle had something he thought that Victor could use to get Adam out of the company. Kyle gave Victor the notes on Adam’s mediocre performance. It seemed the younger Newman son was essentially treading water. Victor appreciated his grandson-in-law’s information.

Young and the Restless Recap: All Shook Up

At Newman Media, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) fessed up that she’d been to see Tucker, which is how she knew he was interested in Daniel’s gaming platform. Nate (Sean Dominic) pointedly wondered if she was playing Tucker or him. Audra reassured her boss that she works for him, and she only went to see Tucker so she could keep Nate apprised of Tucker’s plans. She explained Tucker’s previous schemes about working with Devon and Ashley, but the whole thing went down in flames.

She said that Tucker needed a new target, and Nate suspected that Tucker wanted to use Audra to get details about Newman. However, she admitted that Tucker wanted details about Daniel’s Omega Sphere. Nate let Audra know that she was his secret weapon to keep him updated on Tucker’s next moves. Nate lamented how he’d been held back by Devon, but now he understood the intoxicating nature of power. Audra said it looked good on him.

Victoria stopped by Newman Media, and Nate updated her about Daniel’s Omega Sphere project at Chancellor-Winters. Victoria was intrigued, and he revealed there were more problems at his cousins’ company. She worried that Nate shouldn’t provoke his family — it’s business, though, Nate reminded her. Victoria liked the idea. He brought up Tucker, but Victoria said she was going to take care of the man.

At Crimson Lights, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) saw Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), and they were full of excitement about Delphine’s latest ultrasound. Elena expressed her happiness, but the women realized something was off about their friend. They insisted that she confide in them, so Elena admitted that she was concerned about Audra working with Nate.

Mariah thought Elena was right to be wary of Audra, and she relayed that Audra had been Noah’s girlfriend in London, and things got messy. Elena wasn’t worried about Nate cheating on her, but she was bothered by Audra stoking Nate’s ambitions. She didn’t appreciate Nate’s lust for power, and she worried Audra’s influence was taking her boyfriend back to the dark side.

They advised Elena to talk openly and honestly with Nate about the whole thing. She said that they’d just gotten through a rough patch, and she felt reluctant to bring up the whole thing again. Mariah said she shouldn’t be worried, but Elena feared that Nate’s attitude would only get worse.
