The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, March 6, sees Devon call out Damian’s lies while Claire notices Kyle and Summer’s closeness. Plus, Nikki gives Claire some advice.
What Happened On Y&R?
Summer (Allison Lanier) ran into Kyle (Michael Mealor) at the Genoa City Athletic Club, and they talked about how much Harrison (Redding Munsell) enjoyed living there while their house was being renovated. The conversation shifted to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and Summer worried about her mother’s silence, fearing something bad might have happened. As Kyle comforted her, Claire (Hayley Erin) walked in and saw them together. When she interrupted, Summer quickly pulled away. Claire inquired about Phyllis, and Summer assured her everything was fine.
Claire was there for a business lunch, and Summer was surprised since she’d so quickly abandoned her dream of working with children. They discussed Harrison, and Claire admitted he had helped her feel centered. She enjoyed returning to the corporate world, and Kyle supported her decision. Summer seemed unsettled as Claire spoke about how much she loved her new life.

Pick Me
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) arrived and told them there was still no news about Sharon (Sharon Case) or Phyllis. Summer asked Kyle for a ride to the office, and she watched as Kyle kissed Claire goodbye.
Nikki asked if Claire was okay. They sat down, and Nikki wondered about the tension between her and Summer. Claire downplayed it, but Nikki reassured her that she loved all her grandchildren. Claire suspected Victor (Eric Braeden) might be pushing Summer to reconnect with Kyle, which surprised Nikki. Nikki advised Claire not to be insecure, reminding her that Summer had some of her mother’s traits but that they could all coexist as a blended family. She also promised to keep Victor in check.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle asked Summer if his relationship with Claire was a problem for her. Summer insisted she only felt protective and didn’t want him to get hurt. Kyle urged her to let it go. She worried Victor might try to ruin things, but Kyle refused to let her grandfather control his life.
Summer pointed out that many had tried and failed, and Kyle joked that he couldn’t be fired as a boyfriend. When she asked if he was falling for Claire, he admitted he wasn’t sure yet but could see it happening. He hoped Summer was sincere about not being an issue, and she assured him she had enough to deal with.
Liar Liar
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Lily (Christel Khalil) introduced Damian (Jermaine Rivers) to Devon (Bryton James). They discussed Devon’s reputation and the fake offer they had tested him with. Devon confronted Damian about lying about owning the companies he ran, and Lily admitted she had investigated him.
Damian insisted his deception was about caution. He explained he had come to Genoa City to investigate Nate’s (Sean Dominic) offer. Devon acknowledged the difficulty of discovering the truth about the past, but he remained skeptical of Damian’s motives. Damian agreed that both he and Nate had been deceptive. Devon wondered about his true intentions, but Damian claimed he was merely curious.
Later, at the penthouse, Amy (Valarie Pettiford) told Nate about her emotional conversation with Damian. She believed he was opening up. Nate shared that Lily had discovered Damian didn’t own the companies. Amy wondered why he was acting as a front. Nate encouraged her not to assume the worst about Damian.
Dr. Carol Kelly arrived to discuss Amy’s treatment options, bringing a glimmer of hope. Damian also showed up. He hugged Amy and invited her to lunch. She had to meet the doctor, but he assured her lunch could wait. As Dr. Kelly began discussing the situation, Damian and Nate left them to talk.
