The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, March 7, find the two titans of Genoa City reaching out to the younger generation…one with a threat, one with a promise. (We’re sure you can guess which is which.)
Next on Y&R
Victor (Eric Braeden) did his usual bark-and-froth-at-the-mouth routine when he snarled at Jack (Peter Bergman) that no Newman will ever love an Abbott. Again. This time. Starting now.
What he meant was that Victor had decreed that Claire (Hayley Erin) was not to fall for Kyle (Michael Mealor). Now that he’s told Jack…and Diane (Susan Walters)…and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).. and Kyle…Victor is back to tell Claire. Again. Indeed, she misunderstood him the first time. And, this time, he’s not sweetly advising her. He is giving her an ultimatum.

Warm and Cozy
At the other end of the spectrum is Jack. Instead of scaring his son away from Victor’s newest granddaughter, Jack is reaching out to Victor’s other granddaughter, Summer (Allison Lanier), to reassure her that she will always have a place in Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) life, and in Jack’s family.
Victor is using scare tactics, Jack is reiterating his love and support. Yup, Victor definitely has a moral leg to stand on here.
Two For the Road
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) told Nate (Sean Dominic) that she and Holden (Nate Owens) barely knew each other in Los Angeles. She told Sally (Courtney Hope) a bit more. But, in both cases, she swore she wouldn’t be having anything more to do with him now that they were living in the same town again.
Audra…perhaps did not speak the whole truth. Instead, Audra gets together with Holden to scheme. Not for her. This is for Amy (Valarie Pettiford). It’s all totally altruistic.
