The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 3 sees Jack and Diane worrying about Billy involving Phyllis in his fresh start while Billy wonders why Phyllis is not in contact. Plus, Nate feel betrayed by Lily seeking Victor’s help and Damian gives Amy another chance.
What Happened on The Young and the Restless?
Sally (Courtney Hope) adjusted Billy’s (Jason Thompson) pillows at his house. She wanted everything to be perfect for the evening, but Billy assured her that if things went wrong, it wouldn’t be because of the pillows.
When Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) arrived, they complimented the house, and Billy told them Sally decorated it. Diane updated them on the house renovations, which had forced everyone into the hotel. Billy said that Diane had asked for his approval, but he hadn’t realized the scale of the project until he saw the construction crews. Jack seemed uneasy about this, but Diane reassured him that the remodeling was progressing well.
Billy and Sally joked about how many workers it took to change a lightbulb. Diane urged Jack to trust her just as Billy trusted Sally. Billy then raised a toast to Jack. Despite their conflicts, their love for each other had never wavered. Jack made his own toast, praising Billy’s resilience and capacity for love. They hugged.
Diane voiced concerns about involving Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), but Billy was confident in her abilities. Diane wondered whether this redemption attempt would be more successful than Phyllis’ past ones. Billy admitted Phyllis was out of contact. Jack and Diane discussed Phyllis privately, with Jack acknowledging the situation was concerning.
After the guests left, Sally cleaned up while Billy asked if she thought he was making a mistake with Phyllis. Sally took a deep breath and admitted that Diane might be right. Billy wondered why Phyllis was out of contact. Meanwhile, back at the Genoa City Athletic Club, Jack and Diane were concerned about Phyllis but agreed that Billy needed their support.

Celebration
At the penthouse, Nate (Sean Dominic) toasted with Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil), celebrating a successful merger. They welcomed Lily back, and she admitted that Victor had been right—she belonged there. The conversation shifted to Damian (Jermaine Rivers), and Lily told them that he didn’t actually own the companies he claimed to. Instead, Arabesque, owned by Aristotle Dumas, controlled them. Devon thought that was weird, and Nate wondered why the private investigator hadn’t found that information.
Lily told them that she had called in a favor from Victor, which angered Nate. She insisted she had done it to help him, but Nate felt she had overstepped. He worried that investigating Damian might drive him away. Although he appreciated her concern, he asked her to respect his boundaries and let the matter go.

A Second Chance
At the GCAC, Amy (Valarie Pettiford) and Damian met up. He had questions, and she was ready to answer them. As they drank chamomile tea, Amy assured him she had no expectations.
Damian thought that Amy never cared about his father, which had broken her heart. She admitted she had assumed he could handle more than he could at the time. Tearing up, she hoped he could understand why she did what she did. Damian apologized for not considering her feelings.
They reminisced about his father and their bond. Amy revealed that Jackson had never known he wasn’t Damian’s biological father, and keeping that secret had been painful. However, after learning she was dying, she decided Damian needed to know the truth.
Damian said losing Jackson had been difficult, and Amy’s reaction had made things worse. She hoped to repair the damage, and Damian was willing to try.
As they ate, Amy mentioned her upcoming oncologist appointment but had little hope for a miracle. She had made peace and her son, which was enough for her. Damian asked about the rest of the family, and though Amy hadn’t spent much time with them, she encouraged him to get to know Nate.
