What Happened On Y&R?
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) woke up together at the club, and she noticed her alarm had been turned off. Kyle assured her she had silenced it herself. She panicked about being late, but he convinced her to stay, calling in sick.
As they playfully made out, he suggested she leave clothes at his place, making her smile at how serious their relationship had become. After ordering breakfast, they playfully fought with pillows before settling in for a lazy morning together.

Catching Up
At Society, Jack (Peter Bergman) ran into Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and invited her to breakfast. He praised her reinvention of Chancellor, surprising her by not being angry at Victor for pulling the company from Billy. Jack admitted it had forced Billy to reevaluate his life positively.
Nikki was shocked he was giving Victor (Eric Braeden) any credit, but Jack still wished Victor would leave Kyle and Claire alone. Nikki worried Victor would push Claire away, but Jack warned that if Victor kept interfering, Kyle and Claire would become collateral damage. They agreed to support the couple and ignored Kyle and Claire’s obvious lie about calling in sick.
A New Leaf
At the GCAC, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) met with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Summer (Allison Lanier). She told them about her conversation with Sharon. Phyllis admitted she wasn’t letting hatred rule her life anymore. However, she revealed that she still struggled with nightmares and lingering dread.
Nick was happy for growing and changing, and Summer reassured her she was doing something huge. Phyllis said that Sharon had saved her life, which forced her to admit Sharon was a good person. However, Phyllis couldn’t find peace until their captor was brought to justice.
The Key
At Crimson Lights, Traci (Beth Maitland) was surprised to see Sharon out so soon after her ordeal. Sharon told her about the psychological torment she and Phyllis endured. She said it was a twisted experiment meant to force them to work through their issues. Traci was horrified, especially when Sharon revealed their captor seemed to know them.
Sharon noticed Traci’s engagement ring. Traci struggled to enjoy her engagement while something so terrifying loomed. Sharon suggested she and Phyllis talk to Alan (Christopher Cousins) for insight into their captor’s mind. Traci agreed, mentioning Alan was in Paris. Sharon felt optimistic. She remembered how Alan had helped bring down Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian (Ray Wise).
Later, Sharon joined Phyllis, Nick, and Summer at the GCAC. They discussed their next steps. Phyllis joked about brain chemistry and declared she and Sharon had a clean slate. However, Sharon refused to move on until they caught their captor. She told them about her conversation with Traci and suggested consulting Alan. Nick fully supported the idea, and Sharon believed Alan might be the key to solving things.
Meanwhile, back at Crimson Lights, Traci called Alan to postpone her trip to Paris. After ending the call, she muttered, “This just cannot be.” When Jack arrived, she broke down, begging him to assure her she hadn’t made the biggest mistake of her life.
