The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, March 19, sees the Abbotts missing a huge clue, Nick asking for the truth, and Adam and Chelsea reclaiming their love.

What Happened On Y&R

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) were beaming to see how happy Traci (Beth Maitland) is. They ooh’d and ahh’d over her ring and romantic proposal. However, Jack was a bit hesitant. Something about how fast this was moving had him on edge. Even more so when he learned that the groom-to-be had taken off for Paris. He relented, however, when Traci asked him to walk her down the aisle.

After grabbing a table, Traci opened up about those strange texts she saw on Alan’s phone. A security breach? What could that be? Jack was concerned, but Traci assured him that all was well. She believes Alan’s shoddy explanation. Plus, Alan definitely would never pretend to be someone he’s not. He’s 100% himself 100% of the time.

MORE: Will Traci realize the truth before it’s too late?

Soon after, Kyle (Michael Mealor) joined them and talk soon turned to Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) shocking ordeal. Kidnapped and trapped in an abandoned hospital? How strange. Especially since Alan got those texts and thinks his phone is hacked. What a weird coincidence. Strange. Of course, no one suspected Alan of foul play, though. He’s a good guy.

About Us…

Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) tried to talk Nick (Joshua Morrow) into joining her and Faith (Reylynn Caster) on their trip to London to see Noah. As fun as it sounds, Nick declined, even after Sharon offered to adjust the timing to suit his needs. Nick thought it best to sit this one out and let Sharon have some time alone with their children.

This led to a telling conversation where Nick outright asked if Sharon ever thinks about them as a couple. After trying to shift gears, Sharon finally admitted that yes, she does think about it sometimes, but their history speaks for itself. Nick agreed. He feels much the same.

Summer (Allison Lanier) interrupted the moment and told Nick she was worried about her mother. She believes the ordeal is hitting Phyllis harder than she’d like to admit. She was acting weird and erratic, and Summer was concerned. Nick immediately ran off to check on his ex.

Choosing Love

Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) caught Adam (Mark Grossman) at the tail end of a tense call and wasted no time calling him out. What was that about? Does he want payback? Is he willing to take more risks? With that, she took his phone and forced him to take a break from work.

No sooner did she pry his phone from his hand than she distracted him with some serious flirting. She admitted she likes the way things are between them now, and Adam agreed. It’s never too late for romance. With that, Chelsea showed him to the living room, where she set up a night they would never forget.

The pair finished their meal and discussed what to do wit the rest of the night. They both want more, but Chelsea worried “more” would ruin what they have. In the end, they threw caution to the wind and hit the sheets. It was an evening of love, heat, and passion. It was everything they ever wanted.
