Nikki Is Keeping Secrets
At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) secretly drank from her flask. When she turned around, Nikki saw Jordan (Colleen Zenk) mocking her at the window. Alarmed, she called for Victor (Eric Braeden), who rushed in, concerned. Nikki, claiming she was just startled, requested some water. Victor, ever the doting husband, suggested a vacation, reminiscing about their plans to visit Paris. Nikki hesitated, citing Victoria’s troubles and Jordan’s escape.
Shaken, Nikki hid her flask in her purse and grabbed a mint. Victor returned with her coat, proposing they go out. When he noticed her protective stance over her purse, suspicions arose. Nikki deflected, using Christmas as an excuse.

Meanwhile, at the psychiatric hospital, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) shared the shocking revelation with Claire that she was their daughter. They apologized for doubting her at the lake house. They also empathized with Claire because her aunt had so cruelly manipulated her.
Claire contemplated her sanity, and Victoria reassured her, urging her to work through her emotions. Claire questioned what her parents would have done if they had discovered her as a baby. Victoria confirmed that they would have done anything to bring her home. As Claire continued to struggle, Cole and Victoria vowed to support her healing process.

Victoria stepped away to talk with doctors, and as Claire pondered her upbringing, Cole shared his story about growing up with a mentally ill mother, determined to spare his child from similar struggles. Victoria returned and awkwardly asked her daughter for a hug. Claire allowed it, tears streaming down her face. Meanwhile, Jordan snuck into the hospital, disguised as a nurse. She hovered outside Claire’s room as she slept.
Family Business
At the Abbott mansion, Diane (Susan Walters) pressed Jack (Peter Bergman) to reinstate Kyle to his former position as co-CEO, emphasizing his importance in light of Billy’s shortcomings. Jack hesitated, expressing concerns about Kyle’s readiness, which made Diane angry. She suggested he speak with their son first.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) came downstairs to talk to his dad, and Diane left. Kyle’s attempt to reassure his father about Tucker’s plot involving Audra raised doubts. Kyle insisted on his loyalty to the family and revealed Tucker’s plan. Jack acknowledged Kyle’s dedication and decided to use Tucker’s miscalculation to their advantage. Kyle could have the co-CEO job but no one would know so that Tucker would see him as angry and feeling dismissed.
Money Talks
At the club, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) received a surprising job offer from Tucker (Trevor St. John), who sought her expertise for his IT department. Unimpressed, Phyllis rejected the proposal. She let him know she didn’t trust him, but Tucker insisted that wasn’t a problem for him.
Tucker tempted Phyllis with a considerable salary, revealing the need for internet security due to a sensitive product. Because money talks, Phyllis left the door open, but she refused Tucker’s initial offer, opting to negotiate for an even higher salary.
