Legal and Illegal Means
At the Newman ranch, Victor (Eric Braeden) discussed Ian Ward (Ray Wise) with Michael (Christian le Blanc). Believing Ian was behind Sharon’s disappearance, Victor demanded proof and discreet action to stop him. Michael hesitated, warning legal solutions would take time.
When Chance and Nick showed up, they updated Victor, learning of Ian’s potential involvement. Nick stormed out, frustrated by the lack of progress. Michael worried that Nick would confront Ian directly.

Controlled Chaos
At a motel, Ian and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) argued over their failed plan involving Sharon. Ian criticized her, but Jordan defended her efforts. Ian considered tipping off the police, but Jordan dismissed it as Ian’s panic.
Their argument turned to Claire (Hayley Erin). Jordan wasn’t pleased with Ian’s lack of attention to Claire. When Nick showed up, Jordan hid while Ian faked innocence. Nick demanded Ian tell him where Sharon was, but Ian denied he was involved. Ian prayed for Sharon, but Nick didn’t buy it. Nick threatened Ian with dire consequences if harm came to her.
Sharon’s Haunting
In the sewer, Sharon awoke chained and disoriented. Cameron (Linden Ashby) showed up, she rejected his help. Sharon suspected she had been drugged and left to die. Cameron mused about their shared past, acknowledging his traumatic memories of the location. Of course, he pointed out the food and water, indicating she was meant to survive. Sharon worried about being abandoned, and she felt guilty about Heather (Vail Bloom). Cameron wondered if Sharon’s predicament was a personal vendetta against her rather than a targeted attack.
Sharon attempted to free herself as Cameron sarcastically encouraged her. Sharon worried that everyone would assume she had another breakdown. However, she knew that Nick would not give up on her. Cameron urged her to remain calm and strategize.
Suspicions
In Los Angeles, Damian (Nathan Owens) met Nate (Sean Dominic) to discuss a job offer. Damian questioned Nate’s motives, noting he rarely received unsolicited offers. Nate revealed he’d been a doctor in the past and said they had a lot in common. Damian wondered why Nate believed he fit. Nate pointed to Damian’s resume and work ethic, emphasizing his consistency with a parent company despite frequent moves. Damian explained his job changes stemmed from a dislike of stagnation.
Nate pivoted, talking about themes from The Count of Monte Cristo, hinting at Damian’s undercover work. He proposed a role at Winters involving strategic planning and audits. Damian wasn’t sure he wanted to locate from Los Angeles to the Midwest but told Nate to send a formal offer.
After their handshake, Nate updated Amy (Valarie Pettiford) and Audra (Zuleyka). He said Damian had been reserved and skeptical about the offer. Audra urged Nate to be more transparent in future conversations.
