The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 26, sees Damian try to charm Lily while Victor enlists Michael to find out more about Damian. Plus, Adam and Chelsea kissed. It’s going to be a drama-filled day, and you won’t want to miss a second.
What Happened on The Young and the Restless?
Michael (Christian Le Blanc) visited Victor (Eric Braeden) at the new ranch, where they discussed Victor’s health. Victor admitted he still felt pain from the gunshot wound when moving or sitting. They sat down, and Victor confirmed that spies were in place at Jabot to gather information on new products.
Michael asked why he had been summoned, and Victor revealed he was concerned about Lily (Christel Khalil) and wanted to help her. He felt obligated to support her. When Michael asked about Victor’s feud with Nate (Sean Dominic), Victor assured him he had dropped it.
Victor then introduced Michael to a new concern—Aristotle Dumas, who might not even be a real person. There were no photos of him, which Victor found suspicious. He explained how Nate had offered Holden (Nathan Owens) a job, thinking he was Damian (Jermaine Rivers). It turned out that Dumas owned the companies Damian ran. Victor suspected that the Winters family had no idea what they were getting into. He asked Michael to uncover information about Damian and Dumas, and Michael agreed to do it.
Michael suggested Victor take some time off, which Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) supported when she joined them. She urged her husband to slow down and spend more time with loved ones. While Michael and Nikki encouraged him to take a break, Victor insisted he knew when to stop. After Michael left, Victor updated Nikki about Damian, Dumas, and Lily’s request for help. He believed they owed it to Neil (Kristoff St. John) to protect her.

Charmed, I’m Sure
Meanwhile, Lily met Damian at the Athletic Club, where he surprised her by pulling out her chair. She kept things professional, expressing concern about his mother. Damian explained that his mother had hidden the truth about his father, and he’d cut her out of his life. He admitted that, as a teenager, he had blamed her for his father’s death and ran away. Over time, he realized she had only been trying to be strong for them.
Their food arrived, and they enjoyed their meal. Damian admitted that he could accept his mother’s coldness. However, lying about his father and half-brother was different. Lily understood since she had gone through a similar experience. She encouraged him to decide whether to reconnect with his mother.
Damian asked if she was romantically involved, and he was surprised Lily was single. They admitted to doing some online research on each other, but neither revealed much. When he asked to see her again, she laughed and said she was open to negotiating it. After their meal, he walked her out and texted his mother, asking to meet for dinner.
Old Flames Reignite
At the old ranch, Adam (Mark Grossman) surprised Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) with an intimate dinner. He wanted them to avoid interruptions and have a meaningful evening. Though skeptical at first, she was impressed when he revealed he had cooked the entire meal, including homemade pasta and sauce.
As they ate, they reminisced. Adam reminded Chelsea of her early cooking failures, and how he had once pretended to drop a terrible cake, she made to spare her feelings.
Chelsea admitted she had been consumed with fear and doubt, while Adam assured her she was the bravest person he knew. She told him they had both been brave. They discussed how Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) had seen their connection before they did.
After dinner, they sat on the couch. Chelsea kissed Adam.
