The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, February 14, sees some of Genoa City’s finest dreaming about a different romance on Valentine’s Day. Of course, Phyllis, Sharon, and Adam all woke up, realizing it hadn’t been real.
What Happened on The Young and the Restless?
Billy (Jason Thompson) had champagne, chocolate, and flowers to surprise Sally (Courtney Hope). However, he was shocked when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) unexpectedly arrived, pushing her way inside. She teased him about going all out, and when Billy explained it was for Sally. Phyllis told him that Sally was actually in Genoa City with Adam (Mark Grossman). He tried calling Sally.
Phyllis poured champagne and suggested they have their own meeting, playfully tossing her hair and urging him to dance. He refused. She dug into the chocolates, making remarks about holding onto his heart. She claimed they made a great team and that she could create magic when she wanted. Handing him a glass, she toasted to not being alone on Valentine’s Day.
Billy worried about Sally’s reaction if she arrived. She insisted that neither Sally nor Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was right for him because he constantly had to prove himself to them, which distracted him from work. Phyllis was sure he was still obsessed with Victor (Eric Braeden), and Billy admitted he would go after him but wouldn’t jeopardize his company. Before they kissed, Phyllis suddenly woke up in her bed, confused by the dream.

It Was All A Dream
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) was startled to find the place filled with candles. Nick (Joshua Morrow) emerged with a rose, explaining that he wanted to bring romance into her life. Though she planned to work, he told her the evening was about showing his admiration for her. Pouring champagne, he expressed his deep love for her, reminiscing about the past.
Sharon was caught off guard and questioned how long he had felt this way. He replied, “Probably as long as you have.” They danced, laughing at his poor dancing skills, and he kissed her hand before asking about their future. When she playfully suggested he move back in, he eagerly agreed. They acknowledged they had always been meant to find their way back to each other.
Just as they kissed, Sharon wondered if it was too late for them, but Nick assured her that with her, he felt young again. He took her hand for a dance that would last forever—until he suddenly vanished. Calling out for him, she woke up. Nick was standing there, revealing she had been dreaming.
Dream Dream Dream
At the ranch, Adam was surprised to find the place decorated with roses and candles. Chelsea admitted she had done it, confessing she had fought her feelings but could no longer deny that she was falling for him again. He was skeptical but flattered. She acknowledged she had doubts but realized her love when she saw his eyes.
Adam questioned if this was just Valentine’s Day magic, but Chelsea insisted their journey through Connor’s (Judah Mackey) struggles had changed them both. They had grown into better people. Pouring champagne, they toasted and danced, reflecting on how their son had ultimately brought them back together.
However, Sally suddenly burst in before they could kiss, breathless from traveling halfway across the world. She had dreamed about Adam and wanted to try again. Chelsea vanished, leaving Adam confused. Sally was certain they could move past their issues, and Adam admitted he had never stopped loving her but had finally let her go.
At that moment, Chelsea woke him up, revealing he had been talking in his sleep. She handed him jalapeño lime chips, which he immediately ripped open and started eating.
