The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, February 13, sees that Billy is lying about his business motivations. Plus, Lily and Devon urge Nate to be cautious about Damian while Damian tells Holden he plans to leave Genoa City.
What Happened On The Young and the Restless?
In Paris, Billy (Jason Thompson) checked his messages and rolled his eyes at Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) repeated calls. She told him Daniel (Michael Graziadei) had accepted the job. Billy admitted he hired Daniel largely because of her. He reassured her he wasn’t using the company to go after Victor (Eric Braeden).
Later, Phyllis told Nick (Joshua Morrow) about her excitement over working with Daniel. Nick reminded her of Billy’s history of self-interest. She defended Billy, saying he had changed. However, back in Paris, Billy made a secret call, telling someone to investigate Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) actions at Chancellor.

Suspicious Minds
At the penthouse, Nate (Sean Dominic) told Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James) about the real Damian (Jermaine Rivers). They raised concerns about red flags and worried about his next move. Nate understood why his half-brother had been cautious, given their deception. Since Damian was successful, he might have assumed he was being scammed.
Despite this, Lily and Devon still thought Damian seemed suspicious. Devon wondered why Nate was making too many excuses for him. Nate said he struggled to accept that Damian was related to him.
Nate was determined to connect with Damian, but Devon warned him not to trust him. Lily pointed out that the decision was ultimately Damian’s. Nate hoped Damian cared enough about his mother to forgive her and bring her peace. Devon wondered how Nate would feel if Damian didn’t. Nate admitted frustration at Damian’s lack of concern for Amy (Valarie Pettiford), especially since she had even softened Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) demeanor. His cousins were skeptical, but he assured them it was real.
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Damian confided in Holden (Nathan Owens) about how his world had been turned upside down. Holden understood but pointed out that Amy’s actions had likely been well-intentioned. Damian struggled to forgive her. Holden suggested forgetting everything and returning to LA, which Damian ultimately decided to do.
After Damian left, Audra walked in, and she told Holden to keep their past secret. He reminded her that he helped her with Tucker (Trevor St. John). Holden said he would keep their past a secret since he and Damian were leaving town.
At Society, Damian ran into Lily and smiled at her.
