The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, February 14, take advantage of Valentine’s Day to explore some romantic daydreams…and nightmares.

Next on The Young and the Restless

Valentine’s Day is the ideal time to dream of love…preordained and forbidden. There hasn’t been much romance lately in Genoa City, so when this love-filled holiday arrives, it’s time for various couples to finally give into their feelings…or at least into their fantasies.

Can you guess which ones are real…are which are nothing but a dream?

Standing at the Beginning With You

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) met in high school. They married, had a child, and divorced. They remarried, had a child, and divorced. They remarried, lost a child, and divorced. They…well, you get the idea.

Right now, Nick and Sharon are in the off stage of their 30+ year on-again/off-again relationship. But does that mean they are due to be turned back on? This could be the day we find out.

Close Quarters

Were Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) ever really in love? It seems like they were periodically in lust, in proximity, and in doing anything to make Connor (Judah Mackey) happy.

Right now, the little darling wants Mommy and Daddy to live under the same roof with him. And whatever Connor wants, Connor gets. So there Adam and Chelsea are. In pleasing Connor, in proximity, and, yeah, sure, they always find the other attractive. So why not? Will they? Won’t they? Will it be real? Does it matter?

Toxic Terror

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) that her working with Billy (Jason Thompson) AND wanting him back is a very, very bad idea. Phyllis made noises that made it sound like she pretended to agree with him. Daniel didn’t believe her. Neither do we.

This is why we have to hope that the Billy and Phyllis love scene is a dream. A sick dream. Phyllis’ sick dream. Otherwise, we might not be feeling too well.
