The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 10, sees the truth about Alan finally come out. Traci wonders how she could’ve been so fooled while Sharon and Phyllis help bring their kidnapper to justice.
What Happened On Y&R Today?
At the Genoa City Athletic Club dining room, Traci (Beth Maitland) confronted Alan (Christopher Cousins) in front of her family and Chance (Conner Floyd). She demanded to know his true identity. Alan insisted he loved her but avoided answering directly when she asked if he was Alan or Martin.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) also demanded the truth, and Traci begged for honesty. Jack (Peter Bergman) joined in, wanting answers. Alan accused Ashley of turning Traci against him and questioned Traci’s love, calling their relationship real. Jack told Chance to arrest him.
Alan continued saying he loved Traci, claiming Martin had assaulted Ashley. Ashley called him “human garbage,” and Chance told him he needed to come in for questioning. Traci demanded answers about why he tormented Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Alan was surprised, calling it all insanity. Jack warned that the truth would come out and Chance had to restrain him from attacking Alan.
Traci regretted not realizing the truth sooner. Alan said he wasn’t a monster and wanted to clear his name. Traci accused him of manipulating her and breaking her heart, which he denied. Chance led him away.
Alone with Ashley and Jack, Traci blamed herself for putting everyone in danger by letting Alan into their lives. Ashley reminded her that she had never known both twins and couldn’t have known. Jack reassured Traci that none of it was her fault. Traci felt everything had been too perfect, too fast, and wondered how she missed the truth.

Is Alan Really Martin?
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis, Sharon, and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discussed the latest developments. Phyllis and Sharon were shaken but determined to see justice served. Sharon reassured Phyllis that they were close to the end.
Later, at the station, Chance interrogated Alan, and he still insisted he was not Martin. He claimed the Abbotts had mental health issues and accused them of manipulating Traci. He denied wrongdoing and tried to defend himself, even as Phyllis and Sharon confronted him. They recited clinic riddles and accused him of experimenting on them. He denied it, saying Martin was dead.
Pushed to the edge, Alan finally lost control. He yelled, defending Martin’s genius. He claimed Martin had succeeded in curing Ashley in Paris, where he had failed. Sharon asked if he was trying to do the same with her and Phyllis. He replied cryptically, and the women mocked his failed experiment. They began fighting again, pretending to hate each other, but Alan wasn’t fooled.
Finally, Alan slipped and confessed that he — not Alan — was the one who had helped Ashley and attempted to help Sharon and Phyllis. Chance arrested him.
Phyllis and Sharon joined the Abbotts at GCAC and told them about Martin’s arrest. Sharon said it was finally over, and Traci nodded in relief.
