It looks like GC Buzz might be down one employee on The Young and the Restless very soon. Who gets fired, and how will the massive fallout affect other Genoa City residents?
According to the December 12 issue of Soap Opera Digest, GC Buzz sees a major shakeup in the very near future. Can it survive so many huge changes in such a small time? No doubt this is one firing that fans will love to see!
Pink Slip For Family?
Sometime in the very near future, Devon (Bryton James) is forced to fire Hilary. What are the chances she takes this well? It seems like it could very well cause their marriage to detonate as well.
Actor Bryton James said, “It’s especially tough when you’re married to someone like Hilary Curtis.”
No doubt fans feel some sympathy for Devon on trying to figure her out.
Unfortunately, she continually goes behind his back even after he’s told her, as her boss, to uphold the new standards for the gossip site. She relies on the fact that he’s her husband to keep her position at GC Buzz.
Surely, though, Devon knew that Hilary and a new GC Buzz would never be a match made in heaven.

Revenge on — Mariah (Camryn Grimes)? Why would she need revenge on her employee? Perhaps she senses something there.
Ultimately, Devon lays down the law when Hilary edits Dylan’s (Steve Burton) interview to make it sound the opposite of what he actually said. He demands she re-edit and stay true to Dylan’s original intent. However, Hilary refuses, so Devon pulls the trigger and fires his own wife.
Do you think she’ll take this laying down? Or will she mount some type of crazy comeback?
