The Young and the Restless recap for November 23-27, 2020, features Adam struggling to maintain control, Billy fighting to clear his name, and so much more.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) isn’t doing so hot. He’s certainly no prime specimen of mental health, and he isn’t exactly winning at life at the moment. Victor (Eric Braeden) thinks that the time his son will spend at the psychiatric institution will prove beneficial, but so far, it’s only served to fuel Adam’s paranoia and play host to his daily battle with his younger self.

Speaking of Adam, the bullet that was fired in his general direction – and struck poor, civic minded Chance (currently being played by Justin Gaston) – came from a gun that belonged to one William “Billy” Foster Abbott. A gun that he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) swear was taken during a home invasion. A gun that was found dismantled and dropped in a dumpster behind a building at ChanceComm.

In case you’re wondering, it doesn’t look good for ol’ Billy Boy. He insists that he’s innocent. Victoria is 99.9% sure that he’s innocent. And he’s got Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Lily (Christel Khalil) in his corner. But Victor is circling the camp, and he’s pretty sure that his dreaded former son-in-law might actually be the guilty party. And God help Billy if Victor’s proven correct.

YR Musings

Elena (Brytni Sarpy) loves Devon (Bryton James). Elena loves Nate (Sean Dominic). The complicated dance continues. But at least she confided to Amanda that she’s this close to deciding on which man she actually wants to pursue. By the way, did we mention that she, Amanda, and Lola (Sasha Calle) are now the best of girlfriends?

What do you think? Post a comment!

Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) a little bit smug; Summer (Hunter King) is a little bit of a brat. And the two of them have been through A LOT. So it only seems natural that they’d reunite in the aftermath of an Abbott family Thanksgiving. But are you ready for Skyle 2.0? Or has this coupling simply run its course?

Ashely: “This is our very first family holiday without both our parents, Jackie.” Jack: “Yea, feels weird doesn’t it?” Is it? Does it really? Did Dina (Marla Adams) actually sneak back into town every Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year’s Eve, even during the decades that she was estranged from her children and ex-husband, and break bread with them?

Jack: “Even though he grew up in a loving, financially stable home, I do not understand [Theo’s] attitude…more than anything I’m disappointed. I tried to welcome him, and I thought the time he spent with Dina meant something to him.”

Hmmm…so “trying to make him welcome” includes keeping him from his grandmother on what turned out to be her very last night on Earth, and excluding him from the subsequent dividing up of the Tear Drop of Love? And then you think he’s okay with receiving a fountain pen and curt acknowledgement in her will?

For somebody that preaches family and togetherness, Jack sure did a piss poor job of practicing it. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
